From Lemonbomb Entertainment comes a charming and whimsical farming-sim x exploration game. Stranded Sails sees you and your crew turn up ship-wrecked on a remote tropical island in the middle of the ocean. Using your exploration skills and crew's equipment, your aim is to make camp. But, with mysteries and a curse attached to the island, will it be as easy to leave?
Gemma writes: "Stranded Sails – Explorers of the Cursed Islands on Xbox One is probably the best pirate-themed exploration game which has some farming and crafting in it. But then again, it doesn’t exactly have much competition."
COGconnected: Stranded Sails: Explorers of the Cursed Islands is an open world adventure game with an emphasis on farming and crafting. While it looks like an adorable and endearing addition to this genre, its minute-to-minute gameplay is unfortunately tedious and tiring.
Josh from Controller Crusade writes: "While it shows glimpses of promise during its 10-15 hours, Stranded Sails: Explorers of the Cursed Island lacks the secret sauce that other farming/life simulators offer. In such a crowded genre, Stranded Sails doesn’t bring anything extraordinary to the table to make it stand out among its peers, but could be a good option for players who are looking for a shorter, more linear experience."
