Biggest scam ever............they were supposed to finish the single player portion ages ago............they should be sued in a class action lawsuit..............I would be pissed if I spent money on a game but never received what was promised.....................o f course with all the nickel and dime operation of todays games and the fact that gamers are throwing money out the door (their going to hate themselves when they want to retire) this isn't surprising at all.

Class action suit because something is delayed? Lets sue every game company that delays their games!!!

Company has brought in the most revenue they ever have and this year is probably going to be the best.

Some people like what they are doing, you just have to accept this. People who like simulation and immersion especially tend to find this game very impressive. Some people like the direction that the scope creep put them in. I would know, I'm one of them, and I haven't even backed the game, but I've been following it for 7 years.
You don't have to like it, and that's fine. Obviously scope creep comes with consequences, including fucking over people who wanted a full, functional game within 7 years. I'm not defending against that.
Even so, their revenue is going up (this year will be record most likely) in large part because some people are seeing progress and are happy with it. Many people are genuinely happy with progress and excited for it, this is just a fact. This game is by far the most exciting project out there for me personally.

They held a VIP dinner to sell people there a $675 ship. To get an invite to the dinner you had to have spent $1,000 on the game already, and the ticket to get in was $275. That new ship? An 8-person minelayer concept for a game that has 50 person servers and no mines...

It's funding the game. If you want to complain about endless scope creep go ahead, but you can't just ignore what these expensive ship sales are meant to do because it's convenient for your argument.
It's given CIG the ability to have several hundred employees working on a game of unprecendented scale and production value. That is why people are excited for it. But you'll just ignore all of that ofcourse. What about all the people who spend $45 and are really excited for it or happy with what CIG puts out ? Pretend they don't exist ? What about me ? I haven't backed the game at all but I'm super excited for it even though I've followed it for 7 years. Pretend I don't exist, as well as others like me.

Besides, your comment doesn't refute anything I said in my previous comment. It's just common sense, obviously.

the game once had a much lower sever player count. It will have a much higher player count in the future.

Mines are not hard to implement. At all. Also pretty sure if you look at design they would have had plans for mines.

But none of this matters. It's not like the n4g comment section is actually informed about anything. Digital Foundry did a video on it, and they're now shills ? It's going to be fun watching the explanations people come up with as it gets more attention and more people like it. Nothing will make sense to people, because all they know is "sc scam", because they saw a bunch of articles and videos.
