IGN: Monopoly Review

In the end, Monopoly is a good, but not great, interpretation of the Parker Brothers classic. Pick it up and give it a spin if you've got a set of friends who normally enjoy coming together around other multiplayer standards like Mario Party -- but if you don't enjoy those games, or the traditional board game version of Monopoly, or if you just don't have any friends to play with, send the potential of this game being added to your library directly to jail. Do not let it pass Go. Do not spend $40.

No online = normal for the game. Seriously who would even want to do online in this game? takes too long. Uno, Yatzee, I can see games like that but not Monopoly. I dont even think the PC version had that

Not a huge Monopoly fan anyway but if I invested an hour or two managing money and buying up property, just to have my opponents quit when I start to win, I would be uber-pissed.

And seriously, who is going to spend $40 on this. Should be a downloadable title that costs $10 max.

AAA title FTW!!! i can careless about this gme unless it was a PSN title and if it didnt cost 60$

gives the real monopoly 9.5 out of 10.

Pros
* I always get Trafalgar Square
* My opponents always end up in jail

Cons
* I never get the car.

“Monopoly” has just announced its brand-new DLC pack for iOS and Android

Marmalade Game Studio along with Hasbro Inc. is delighted to announce a brand-new DLC pack for "MONOPOLY" on iOS and Android adding a vintage, dazzling new board representing Atlantic City in 1935 - the setting of the original MONOPOLY board game.

Is it the DLC for adding the "get tax money for landing on Free Parking" house rule?

" a brand-new DLC pack for "MONOPOLY" on iOS and Android adding a vintage, dazzling new board representing Atlantic City in 1935 - the setting of the original MONOPOLY board game."

- That's what's said at least.

They should add a california edition patch where you get taxed for just rolling the dice.

Benji1508d ago

I think it's great to get this on iOS.
