The stylus and dual screens seem like a natural fit for the genre but aside from a handful of titles, it's sort of slim pickings for RTS fans. Robocalypse aims to fill that void with a robotic take on the genre that, for the most part, succeeds. It is an interesting take on the RTS genre for the DS, Robocalypse won't blow your mind but it's a fun way to kill a few hours.

Robocalypse is easily one of the best portable strategy games out there. It's fun, has a nice sense of humor, and the simplified control scheme works well overall. If you can find friends with the game, you can battle in four-player action fests. Overall, this is an excellent example of small-screen strategy.

Robocalypse has you at the controls of your own robot army with a great storyline that adds enough to the game but does not add so much that it gets boring or even annoying. You are the commander of an army but like in real life you do not order around individuals but order squads and a few individuals with special abilities like commanders."
