They used Guerrilla Game's engine for Horizon Zero Dawn. And it seriously just looks like a mod for that game in so many ways. The open world looks so much like Horizon right down to it's emptiness. The combat looks awkward and clunky like in Horizon. Switch out the robot dinosaurs for the black demons. Even all of the holographic stuff is straight from Horizon.

If there was ever a game that I was least excited about, it would be Death Stranding. Unfortunately there's just too many others games in my que to even be bothered with taking a glimpse at this, especially something that isn't hitting all the right "interesting" marks for me.
