Are Take-Two’s Massive Sales Expectations For Borderlands 3 Reasonable?

Gearbox wants Borderlands 3 to outsell Borderlands 2, which would be more than 22 million copies. Will that happen?

No. I had the first but will not get 3. I had a chance to play a demo of 3 the other day but didn't.

We are in an age of Borderlands games with the likes of Destiny and other looter shooters flooding the market.

A sequel to something like Max Payne would be nice, though.

In the group of 5 I play with on a daily basis there's 1 who's favourite game of the last 10 year's is Borderlands.
The rest of us just don't get it. I liked the first and when 2 released I just couldn't bring myself to play it. We played through 2 in the handsome collection recently and I just find it so boring. I like the humour but as with all looter shooters it's such a mind numbing drain that I got to the stage I'd dread turning it on and had to give up.

I don't understand the hype, Even in retrospect with the 1st a lot of what I found funny I now think is a bit annoying. Maybe I'm getting too old ha

It just looks like more of the same. The first game I really enjoyed, the second one was ok and now I'm pretty much over it, I'd rather see a return to Brothers In Arms tbh. Good luck to others who are looking forward to it though.
