Store-related things are still down. Same with games that confirm content ownership (like DLC and MTX content) at load.

Once the store issue is fixed, everything should be golden for gaming.

its only down for certain subset of users, but there is an outage of some sort. It affected me for about 5 minutes then was fixed so my friend and I were able to play coop online.

Nice, it's good that MS and Sony are on top of these outages and are able to get them back up quickly.

I have to say though, I've rarely experienced PSN or Live going down this gen. It seemed a lot more frequent last gen.

I don't know any gamers advocating for streaming. I for one don't mind the way gamepass is set up, since an outage doesn't affect downloaded content, but I still prefer to purchase physical games.

I can play some games I own digitally but some that I play through ea access won’t work, it just keeps telling me to sign in with whatever service I have the game through.. rip. Also, I tried to buy the game I usually play from ea access but when I did, it still acts like I don’t own it, so I wonder if my transaction even went through in this case

There's store validation issues. One those are fixed they'll work. Games on disc or standalone digital games you already have installed should be fine for now.

It's 10 pm MST and according to the Xbox Live status page on the Microsoft website half of the XBL services are "Limited". This has now gone on for some people for 6/7hrs and maybe for some even longer.
