PlayStation China Hero Project titles Lost Soul Aside and Pervader will not exhibit ChinaJoy 2019 in Shanghai from August 2 to 5, but Sony Interactive Entertainment Shanghai did provide an update on each game’s development in a message addressed to fans.
While the developers of the PlayStation China Hero Projects that are playable at ChinaJoy 2019 opted to take the time out to make a vertical slice to showcase, Lost Soul Aside developer Ultizero Games and Pervader developer Beijing Light & Digital Technology opted to continue focusing on development.
Lost Soul Aside. Originally a one-man project that was picked up by Sony, the game's been in development for roughly seven years. In that time, the title has clearly undergone some dramatic changes — especially in terms of scope — and it's looked more and more promising with every showing. The game's most recent appearance arrived last summer, when a new trailer seemingly confirmed that the initial PS4 version was cancelled, in favour of PS5 and PC.
Integrating hundreds of stock assets is not an easy task.
It might look good, sure, but good luck with making it work and become an actual decent game.
With ChinaJoy in Shanghai in full swing, UltiZero Games released a brand new trailer of its highly-anticipated action RPG Lost Soul Aside.
is it ever coming out or do we just get to see these "gorgeous and amazing" trailers for the rest of our lives?
Sony Interactive Entertainment will publish Ultizero Games-developed action RPG and PlayStation China Hero Project title Lost Soul Aside worldwide, the companies announced. It will be available for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
This game has been on my radar since it was announced 1 million years ago (or so it seems)! Wasn't it being developed originally by just one person?
I was looking forward to seeing more of Lost Soul Aside but if its absence from this event means it gets its development furthered then all the more power to Bing Yang
