Dark Souls 3 is easily the most replayable game in the Dark Souls Series. But, is the game good enough to spend nearly 10 hours killing Silver Knights alone?
These games bore me to tears. I don’t mind the difficulty it’s just the constant killing the same enemies over every time you rest that makes it so monotonous
They've already said that the Dark Souls story line had completed. I think we'll get another Souls series, just something that's different than DS.
Dark soul's story revolves around a never ending cycle. Dark souls 3 showed us the end of that cycle. No point it show us anything after that. Plus Dark soul 3 dlc ending left me quite hollow inside, the thing that made me feel the same was Berserks eclipse and Evangelion neon genesis.
I think it's time to move on and do something like what they did with Bloodborne, take a new game, give it that "souls" gameplay, add some new elements to it while setting it in a brand new setting.
Dark Souls had that medieval setting while Bloodborne was full on Gothic horror, there's so many other places to explore. I'd love to see something Sci-Fi for example or Pirate themed.
I'd rather see what Elden Ring can bring to the table.
Elden Ring is Dark Souls 4,
