Hitman 3 Is Currently in Development and Might Be Episodic Again

IO Interactive wants to keep the Hitman series going, but first may release a new IP.

No, just no. We just got that fixed for Hitman 2 yet you're going to go right back to what made many wait to buy Hitman? It was years before I bought Hitman because it wasn't the complete experience yet.

I only ever bought Hitman when the full package came out and I'm glad I did, if I had to wait for each episode I'd have gotten bored and never went back on it.

I was completely against the episodic release for the first game to the point where I didn't buy it until Way later. But, I will be the first to admit, I was wrong. Trying to play the missions and do all the challenges at once is a lot and actually would've been nice to do spread out over a few months. I can see the appeal of the episodic schedule. You spend so much time in each level it's nice to break it up.

Either way, I'm down. I love the Hitman games. Especially recent ones.

I didn't really like he first episodic Hitman for current gen,I tried it from getting it from PS+ & the reason I couldn't get into it because it didn't play like Hitman:Absolution which I enjoyed.I tried Hitman 2 demo & seems just like the episodic one.

If there is one game that will benefit from the SSD hardd drives next gen it would be this game. So much saving and loading to do in order to do multiple challenges.
I would prefer a full game in total, but I'm ok with their episodic nature. I'll just wait till it's all fi nished to buy it on a big discount. No biggie

I doubt it'll be episodic. They saw how poorly that model was received. Hitman 2 was a far better game, and didn't feel disjointed in the same way.
