Hitman 3 Is Currently in Development and Might Be Episodic Again

IO Interactive wants to keep the Hitman series going, but first may release a new IP.

Nitrowolf21751d ago

Eh I hope they do a full release of it like 2, it still technically follows that format but at least it came out all at once

Hopefully they do enough to make it feel fresh also

Hitman Absolution is my first and only favorite

Giblet_Head1751d ago (Edited 1751d ago )

Your favorite and first is the one entry in the series that plays the least like a Hitman game? Yikes.

quent1751d ago

You need to play Silent Assassin and Blood Money

neutralgamer19921751d ago

Mine too

Game gets too much hate from hitman fans but it's a very good game

Sgt_Slaughter1751d ago (Edited 1751d ago )

No, just no. We just got that fixed for Hitman 2 yet you're going to go right back to what made many wait to buy Hitman? It was years before I bought Hitman because it wasn't the complete experience yet.

-Foxtrot1751d ago

But why? Hitman 2 was better because I could play the full game and not have to wait for each episode

I only ever bought Hitman when the full package came out and I'm glad I did, if I had to wait for each episode I'd have gotten bored and never went back on it.

Dandizzle1751d ago

If they keep making them, I will keep buying them. IO, Keep em coming. Don't matter if it is episodic or full release. More hitman is always a good thing.

Epic Games Faces $1.2 Million Fine Over "Unfair Practices," Plans to Fight Back

Epic Games is facing a $1.2 million fine by the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets over "unfair practices" in the Fortnite shop.

Sciurus_vulgaris10h ago

It might be cheaper to simply pay the fine. Fighting said fine could cost millions due to court and lawyer fees. Fortnite generates well over a 100 million in each month, so Epic has plenty of cash.

franwex2h ago(Edited 2h ago)

But if they did pay it, then they are basically admitting that they did something they weren’t supposed to be doing. If they fight it, they may win and continue to have a sense of urgency for their micro transactions thus making more money long term.

Too bad for the best fps there is atm...

Sgt_Slaughter8h ago

The market for games like this is too over saturated to make a dent in other established games' player counts. Trying to start all over with a whole new multiplayer meta and grinding to get better is not feasible when there's already a ton of similar games that have come out before it.
