@Elwenil
"Agreed, it is truly one of those "easy to pick up, hard to master" games. You can go into it as deep as you want. I know some people who played long enough to get their favorite frame and build it and then just coasted like that. Others are going for max rank, others for very specific min/max builds for various tasks.

I have at least one of every frame up until Wisp I think, and while I do get into the modding for specific things, a lot of the time I just put on the obvious mods on a frame and go have fun. I only get into real specific weapon and frame builds if I see a problem with the build I have or I want to do something specific with one like Eidolons or a specific type of farming.

But you can play any way you like, it's only when you want to get the most out of a frame or weapon or want to do the most efficient farming that you really need to get serious about the mods and builds."

- I don't know, perhaps FTANK confused "Warframe" with some other game? Because it's exactly as you wrote...

Could be, but I do know of a few friends I tried to get into Warframe and it was pretty intimidating for them at first. Some stuck with it, some didn't. It's a completely different game than it was when I started back when the PS4 first released. It was bare-bones and only had the Corpus ship map tiles. I didn't know what the mods were for in the beginning and sold them for credits, lol.

Now there is the "new player experience" that introduces you into the game with a bit of a tutorial and gets the storyline going. Even with that it can be hard to get players into Warframe when we are experienced 25+ MR players with all the bells and whistles and they are struggling to make enough credits to buy the next blueprint, rank up a few weapons and understand how the mastery tests work. Some grasp it quickly, others are freaked out when they ask how to get something like my Rhino Prime with it's Palatine skin, vintage arcane helmet a handful of Forma, prime mods, etc. and can't see that far down the road, so to speak. Pile on the huge variety of weapons, warframes, sentinels, kubrow, kavats, operators, skins, formas, augment mods, etc and it can be overwhelming at first. The key is to take it in bite size pieces and only deal with what you have available and worry about the rest as it comes. Not always an easy task for a new player.

I can only speak for 2017 to 2019, but so I've heard...So one will either hate or love the game more or less.

I don't know man, I found it intimidating at first and so did my friends. Without regularly consulting the wiki pages and the forum I'd have been in the dark about a lot of stuff.

The in game help is piss poor and it's a hellishly deep and complex game with the whole modding system including rivens, adding forma and catalysts etc as well as the multiple forms of currency.

I'm not fond of these types of games but Warframe always delivers complete package's for gamers hope this expansion is another success as well.

F1 Arcade Opens In Boston

This reminds me of Gameworks and sounds really fun. F1 Arcade (F1Arcade.com/us/), the world’s first premium F1 entertainment experience, today opened its first US location in Boston Seaport.

Cool , only a 20 minute ride for me. I am going to check it out . I hope they have a lot of retro Arcade cabinets. Now that Mary Jane is legal in Massachusetts it would been awesome if they served Edibles at the bar also. I once played music and promoted a EA Madden tournament at a nightclub in Greater Boston in 2003 . Only problem is hardly anybody drank booze because between games most of the crowd would just go out to there car and smoke weed . So it would be awesome if they got a weed license to at least serve Edibles.

I think they would likely want to stay clear of that until they are more established.

People will tolerate Alcohol but will have a different take on edibles and such as they are trying to push a family friendly atmosphere I am sure.

I’m in the metrowest area. I’ll have to check this out too
