EVE-Online NPC's Threatening Player Owned Assets & Invading

n 2015, CCP, the developers of EVE-Online started dropping clues of something ominous that was coming. This would later fizzle out as a new NPC faction that didn't have much interaction beyond some Incursions that were mostly ignored. Now things have become spooky.

Of course it gets stagnated, the game reflects life. Imperialism and colonialism died. No one is actively at eachother throats and no one is really making land grabs because its futile.

It reflects life in that regard yes, but it's a game still and a game is supposed to be fun and entertaining. It's far below the entertainment value that it once was. This is why this event is being applauded by the fan base as we hope it breaks up that stagnation.

I mean yah your correct it's no fun, but there is a line that once you cross you cant go back, at some point people have invested so much time and money into something asking them to blow it all on an invasion to another area is futile, people don't want to lose what they have, it would be an interesting thing to study. What makes EVE super fun, the risk and reward starts tipping to more risk and less reward after a while.

Yes it is. I wish it was completely offline vs AI, sort of like the X3 series but less buggy..

Not going to lie, reading about how they were introduced a while back and are now a huge threat is extremely interesting and makes me wish I was into these MMORPG's.
