Meet The Robinsons is a really good game along with Inside and Castlevania.

Another great month for Xbox Gold!

Are you serious? The movies good therefore the game must be too? I'm immediately skeptical because the likelihood of a movie tie-in game being quality is literally less than 1% and if this game is among the 1% we'd have heard about it years ago. The reviews overall suggest it's an average game and many even go out of their way to say your kids will like it which is not the best way to praise a 'good game'.

Inside and Castlevania are good picks though so you're correct there.

traumadisaster1770d ago

Having your kids like the video game is a good thing. The hell would you say that is not important?

There is a ton of stuff my kids like that I don’t and vice versa

@traumadisaster

"Having your kids like the video game is a good thing."

You would give your kids this game over what exactly?

CurbStompin1770d ago

Are you 8 years old? Or just trolling

littletad1770d ago

I consider myself more of an xbox fan, but no, this is a pretty shitty month for games with gold.

Nosferatu_dude1770d ago (Edited 1770d ago )

well there is always a game pass with a better and bigger selection, so im not so sad about this month:)

Concertoine1769d ago (Edited 1769d ago )

Inside is a good pick tbf. This is the first month in a while where im actually going to get a game.

Kornholic1769d ago

It just shows how low your standards are.

Nosferatu_dude1769d ago

not it just shows im not crying over bul***t and going on with my life, but as always its the internet, people know other people by one sentence:) good for you pal and your super high standarts

Kornholic1769d ago

What a loser. That "bullshit" ain't exactly free either.

PhantomS421770d ago

Well I suppose with Castlevania and Inside it's not a completely awful month, but not exactly amazing either.

aconnellan1770d ago

My thoughts too - I’m really keen to pick up Inside, but I don’t know why those other guys are acting like it’s the best month ever

bangoskank1769d ago

Two of the best games of their gf genre equals "not a completely awful month"?
I bet if they were free on PS+ Sony would be getting praise.
Instead we get soccer and racing.

PhantomS421769d ago

Yeah, one has been released a dozen times over and the other while really good is a pretty short indie game. But nice trying to be a sad console fanboy and trying to turn two meh lineups into a console war.

bangoskank1768d ago (Edited 1768d ago )

Not a fanboy at all. I actually don't even own an xbox anymore. I just call biase when I see it.

Wulfer1770d ago

Xbox platform knocking it out of the park, even with the success of GamePass.

Gwiz1770d ago

Sony gives crap and so does Microsoft LOL.

shaun mcwayne1770d ago

Lol, mega crap, ill give ya 200 bucks for all of them.

Shane Kim1770d ago

Both services was pretty dissapointing this month.

lxeasy1770d ago

The 7 Best Vampire Games: Embrace the Night

Vampire games are making a comeback of late, and gamers hoping this is a new trend should look back at the 7 best vampire games ever made.

SimpleSlave33d ago (Edited 33d ago )

What is a list? A miserable little pile of scribbles.

A Best Vampire Game list and no Bloodborne. A bold choice, indeed.

The_Hooligan33d ago

IMO, I wouldn't consider bloodborne a vampire game. Long story short, It's more about the side effects of the blood experiment and the influence of the red moon, than actually being a vampire.

SimpleSlave33d ago (Edited 33d ago )

Yes, Bloodborne is about Vampires. It's not just the undertones, or the imagery or the obvious parallels, it's pretty much everything and then some. Here's the thing, Bram Stoker's Dracula is also not a Vampire novel. Why? Because technically Vampires from folklore were something else.

But based on our updated view of what Vampires are, informed in one way or another by Bram Stoker's Dracula, Nosferatu The Vamprye, and many other stories, and combined with From Software's own interpretation, we can say with confidence that Bloodborne IS a Vampire story. Sure, there are other elements, but the central narrative is pretty much Vampires. Which would make it THE Vampire game. I mean, Cainhurst Castle. Anyways, that's how I see it.

But to each their and we'll agree to disagree.

MEGANE33d ago

Thats the best Vampire game ever, but enough talk, have at you!.

SimpleSlave33d ago (Edited 33d ago )

Absolutely... Now, die monster! You don't belong in this thread!

I've lost all hype for Bloodlines 2. It's going to be an action game.

Barlos33d ago

No Blood Omen? Even today it's one of my favourite vampire games. We could really do with a release on modern platforms.

Relientk7733d ago

I really enjoyed Vampyr. The combat is a little clunky and could use some work. However, the story, characters, dialog. setting, and pretty much everything else in the game is great.
