With the release of the highly-anticipated Super Mario Maker 2, a Nintendo Switch Online subscription may be worth purchasing more now than ever before.
In case you were curious, a Steam account transfer via will is not permitted according to an official response from Valve.
Would be nice if the article's writer looked into and reported whether other digital game libraries could be transferred over via will (Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo, EGS, EA app, GOG, Ubisoft Connect, Rockstar Launcher etc) instead of this half-baked piece but it's probably the same for all of them anyway
This seems like a way bigger issue than mandatory PSN account linking for PlayStation games.
So where is the outcry?
The next Witcher game will still be an RPG but players can expect new things as CD Projekt Red want to push boundaries and discover new ways of storytelling.
Bethesda seems like a studio that is "stuck in the same spot". Development wise. Glad CDPR are wary of that element in game design.
Industry insider Dusk Golem reveals that there is no Resident Evil 1 Remake in the works. Instead, Capcom are reportedly in active development of Resident Evil Zero and Code Veronica.
RE Zero would be better to do first over RE1 because they can tie the story into RE1 more.
The original RE Remake was weird because Rebecca never mentioned anything about what happened in Zero and it felt so disjointed because Zero was developed during the Remake and they clearly didn't share any notes with one another.
“A Switch Online membership may have been hard to justify until now if you don’t find the library of NES games appealing or don’t have a passion for online multiplayer games like Splatoon 2, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Arms, or Mario Tennis Aces. However, if you’re going to be getting Super Mario Maker 2, now might be the time to either pick up or renew your subscription.”
If you’re the type of person who wouldn’t subscribe to NSO on principle and it’s online multiplayer games didn’t interest you, I seriously doubt just one game would be enough to change your mind to start subscribing.
So, in order to play created levels, and upload created levels you need an online sub? Cause if so then it's a hard pass from me.
I still won’t pay for the Nintendo Online service (yet), but I can see the appeal as Mario Maker 2 shared levels definitely lead to hours upon hours of gameplay.
Wait so Nintendo online is to actually have online functionality? PS Plus was just more multiplayer so things like that shouldn't be effected even without plus. That's some BS for a service so crap. Once my free year on amazon is done I'm basically not going to have online functionality?
