At least some people in NA like soccer. The interest in American football in the UK is near zero. Additionally, you don't have to be a fan of the sport to enjoy the games. I live in the UK and like the NHL games.

I know I AM American. Im just tired of people who put down Soccer because they are insecure about their own sport. Did you know that the reason we have anti-soccer sentiments in our country is because the sports establishment (meaning the owners of clubs and leagues) were afraid that introducing/investing in Soccer would take popularity away from the existing sports establishments? They were simply scared of the financial uncertainty, because they didnt know which sport would lose more fans to Soccer, so they started a campaign of making people think they didnt like Soccer, or that there was something inherently unamerican about Soccer. Thus the jokes about Soccer being a pansy sport. Everytime i hear people say things like that it reminds me of how much people act like sheep.

It's funny you mention that about the establishment yet we are trying to push football and other things on other countries to get more popularity, and in turn more money. Very hypocritical to not want others doing it while doing it ourselves. Seems like it's the American way though from what I've noticed. (And yes I live here)

I can see why people think Horizon is trash because it does somewhat look it, but it's actually really fun with a banging soundtrack. Great little pick up and play game that I would recommend giving a try, especially if you like old school racers or games that are so fast it makes your eyes bleed.

Soccer is quite popular in the US. We aren't soccer riot levels of crazy like some other parts of the world, and football or basketball are usually talked about more, but lots of people play or watch soccer.

I'm not personally into sports games beyond the more stylized ones, or hockey, so it doesn't appeal to me, but I'll give it a go at least.

Yeah, I know. My girlfriend loves it. We've been to a few Chicago Fire games. I actually enjoy it and played it as a kid. It's just fun to joke about it for me.

It's a fun game to play. I did for a few years when I was younger. Now I am too lathargic to actually do any physical activity.:) I can't watch a game though. I find it kind of boring and slow. Kind of like baseball. It has it's moments of excitement, but they're spaced out too far. I suppose going to a game might be better, like baseball, because it's more like being around other people.

Just try them out and see if you like them. Maybe you will, maybe you won't. But you don't have to be a fan of the sport football ('soccer'), to enjoy the video game. Personally don't care much for ice hockey when it's on TV, but really liked NHL in Games with Gold last month orso (played the first EA NHLPA hockey games on Megadrive and loved those ...)

Many of the previous iterations, including PES 2014, has been removed from the PS store.
PES 2014 on PS3 was once a free PS+ game, and it doesn't matter if you never wanted to play it again.
