Do not buy Cyberpunk 2077 jackets from eBay says the developer

Jackets from Cyberpunk 2077 are now available to purchase on eBay from some local sellers. They are selling it for an enormous amount ranging from 200$ to 400$ each.

Developers of Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red, said you should not waste your money on these jackets as they are very expensive. Cyberpunk 2077 is no doubt the most exciting game ever due to the presence of Keanu Reeves in-game. However, people loved those jackets in the trailer, and some local sellers came forward and started selling these jackets for a very high price. Nonetheless, CD Projekt Red said that they will release a similar version of this jacket at a much lesser price.

Director of CD Projekt Red said on Twitter: “The plan is to have a similar version in our store.” and advised fans not to buy these expensive jackets and wait for CD Projekt Red to release the similar version of these jackets at cheap price.

The jackets are on ali Express and look really well made tbh, comes with led collar... I was gonna sell them on my store but the supplier was asking for about $200, figured they wouldn't sell so didnt bother

VTKC1773d ago

This will come across as a stupid question but You are aware of what country ali Express is from dont you?

milohighclub1773d ago

What does the country of origin have to do with anything? The suppliers I use are in China.

VTKC1772d ago (Edited 1772d ago )

It has everything to do with what country its from. Especially China. Are you not aware of the questionable quality standards in the quality of items produced from said country?

milohighclub1772d ago (Edited 1772d ago )

Bs man. Nike, Adidas and Van's say hi, as do the vast majority of brands..
Playstation and xbox are manufactured in China... Apple and IBM manufacture in China. Pretty much every device or gadget you own...made in China.

VTKC1772d ago

Which is why they break so often

milohighclub1772d ago

You mustn't look after your stuff. Havent had a broken device since rrod.

VTKC1772d ago

More often than not, things manufactured from china that is intricate is faulty, unless you are buying something that is easy to manufacture like a spoon. Its difficult to innovate, thats why they wait until somebody else does it and they copy, problem is quality control.
I am curious what products are you actually selling in which you claim are in such reassuring quality. Do you have an online store? What is it?

I'm sure the version CD project will sell will be of better quality. Trust me when i say, do not buy clothes from china. Either it will be too small, or poorly made with cheap material. Also, a lot of those sellers will not refund you, and good luck trying to track them down.

milohighclub1772d ago (Edited 1772d ago )

Nike. Also everything I've bought from China has been great. Never had any complaints from my customers either.

xX-oldboy-Xx1773d ago

Ok - when will their store be available to Aussies? On top of that when will the Sony store be available to Aussies? We've got access to Koji Pro store through a 3rd party and they don't have 1/2 the stuff available in other countries.

2BlackBelt1773d ago

I can do what I want, thanks.

Zeegamereh1772d ago

Basically don’t buy their jackets because we want you to buy our jackets and give us the money!

No Way1772d ago

Eh. It's pretty cool of them to at least mention it. If they developed the game and didn't give any permissions to use content from the game - they should be able to say not to buy it, as they are releasing an 'actual' jacket from in-game.. i'd say.

7 disagrees shows how many look at one dlc that had a rip off fight from ghost in the shell and goes wow what a goat team i love cdpr while ignoring that they only made 2 games that were good witcher 2/3 in 20yrs.

But its a new world we want a criminal that support's legal murder as president/support shoplifting love toxic work environments and have a mass casualty event every other day.

I’ll admit I didn’t play it at launch, but Cyberpunk 2077 is a really good game now.

And who the hell knows what you’re even going on about in your second paragraph here.

EazyC7d ago

Wait a min...I swear to god CP2077's source code got leaked before. CDPR needs to stop using "password123" for all their accounts 😅

just_looken7d ago

Na its hundreds ex employees no doubt just getting there revenge.

Profchaos6d ago (Edited 6d ago )

This is the same leak the threat actors have been trying to sell the source code after cd project didn't pay the ransom.

They didn't manage to sell the source code to any company largely because it would be unethical for say EA to buy it so the threat actors failed to find a buyer.

After they failed to make any money they went through with their threat of simply giving it away.

They will need to add everything they promised in the first one and not over promise on the second one.

just_looken7d ago

They also need to drop esg then hire employees that have knowledge not hire them because they have a set of tits.

Official video they hired people to fill the esg clipboard

Hofstaderman7d ago (Edited 7d ago )

As somebody who has been playing the tabletop games since the 90s and was let down on launch by my PS4 version, you can bet I'm not going the preorder any sequel.

3rd person option, and everything else that was originally promised. Next don't force agenda driven naratives. Finally, release a finished product without need for day one patches.
