When it comes to basketball, few levels of competition can match the fervor of NCAA hoops. From the opening tip of the season when teams begin that run toward their league championships, to the selection for THE tourney in March, it is one long rush of excitement and intensity. And because the game has a great ebb and flow, depending on unlikely heroes at times, there is just no telling who will step up and provide the push to put a team over the top.
EA Sports is back in the NCAA game with Basketball 09, a game that really does a lot to capture the essence of the sport. And with the new additions to the game, it really got a bit more exciting.
Hagens Berman Urges Student-Athletes to File Claims, as Keller, O’Bannon NCAA Settlements Merge
Good job EA for settle 1 of your 99 problems!
EA just please change our hearts that is all (Kamui).
This topic will never go away. Way too much money earned for the little guys to not keep trying to get a slice of the pie.
If you aren't going to college on a scholarship, and EA is making big bucks off of you, why not?
NBA All-Star Kevin Love of the Minnesota Timberwolves is the winner of the 2010-11 Kia NBA Most Improved Player Award. The annual award is presented to a player who has made a significant improvement from the previous season. Love, who was on the cover of EA Sports’ NCAA Basketball 09, talks about his gaming prestige with Call of Duty in this exclusive video interview.
To me people who say "oh I play COD" seems so generic. Yes, in a way COD has made gamers more streamlined, instead of the nerd who was the loser.
It'd be more impressive if he said, "oh I'm a huge Red Dead Redemption fan, or I love playing Bioshock. Or, oh yeah I just picked up Portal 2."
Cod is just meh. Those are wanna be gamers.
@ evrfighter KG won a championship. so im sure Love will leave minnesota if resulted to a ring.
@ TheLastGuardian2010 lol. so you decide whats a game or not? also, COD is a big franchise so Love saying he's good at it is impressive.
LOS ANGELES, California – Minnesota Timberwolves star Kevin Love is appearing in his first NBA All-Star Game at Staples Center in Los Angeles, replacing the injured Yao Ming. This weekend is a return to Hollywood for the former UCLA basketball star. Love was the first UCLA basketball player to be featured on the cover of the EA Sports College Basketball 09 video game. He talks about his love of Activision's Call of Duty: Black Opps and gives out his brother's Xbox 360 Gamertag in this exclusive video interview.
Maybe he didn't give out his gamertag because he doesn't want people to find out he sucks at COD. lol jk
I wish you got more for Prestige then extra classes ect. dosen't seem worth it to me i Prestige once or twice in most cods just for extra weapon slot or if i get really bored .. i really don't think it's anything special imo
