Mortal Kombat 11 DLC Characters Get New Teasers, Microsoft Interested in Killer Instinct Skin

With the release of Shang Tsung being a few days away, NetherRealm Studio has begun teasing their other upcoming Mortal Kombat 11 DLC characters, giving us a small glimpse of Nightwolf, Sindel, and Spawn.

Spawn might just be the coolest DLC character of all time.

Ash Williams would like a word with you

Nah he’s the grooviest

Spawn definitely works within the universe. For some reason, MK can have almost everyone in it and have it work. Not like Street Figher.

That's arguable. That's what Ed Boon said about having a Tekken crossover:
''The tough part is I love the Tekken characters too, they are very cool. I don't know if I want to rip their heads off. I don't want to decapitate them.''
That said, certain characters won't do since MK is an R game. So no, they can't have all.

And one of the best animated series I ever seen hopefully they'll bring it back again

Hopefully they bring in Keith David to VO him in MK11. It’s all I hear when I think of Spawn

I would love to see a version of a Mortal Kombat vs Street Fighter crossover.

Fans been wanting that to happen for the longest time I don't think it will ever will happen for one reason or another

MehmetAlperTR1808d ago (Edited 1808d ago )

It will never happen. Because Capcom will never want scorpion is taking head of Ryu or Ken.. So no Fatality no MK.. Ed Boon had his lesson from MK vs DC universe. Remember there was no Fatality, so fans was anger about that game.. Simply SF is Rating Teen Game.. MK is Rating Mature game.. If you ask me i dont want a MK without Fatality or gore.. So look for Tekken vs SF ( Namco is building that game ) ..

Honestly, I think back then Street Fighter 2 was the hottest thing in the 90’s. So MK vs SF would have helped the MK brand. Now Mortal Kombat is a lot more popular to casual audience than Street Fighter is. Street Fighter Now caters to EVO and fight game professionals. Mortal Kombat doesn’t need the Street Fighter brand anymore today. Capcom has also looked down on Mortal Kombat for its cheap thrills of violence, non accurate Chinese and Japanese stereotypes, and characters always relying on projectiles. To me, I think Capcom could use Mortal Kombat to get back the casuals they lost, not the other way around.

Curious to see how his cape is handled. Chains are obvious but I’d be disappointed if there are no specials/ Kombos or Fatalities that doesn’t integrate his living cape
