E3 2019: Phantasy Star Online 2 Will Release on All Platforms Eventually

Despite already being available on the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in Japan, there was no mention of Phantasy Star Online 2 coming to Sony’s system when it was announced during Microsoft’s press conference at E3 2019. Turns out, however, that this may be a timed exclusive – at least, that’s what Xbox boss Phil Spencer suggested on the Giant Bombcast.

Right... Just like it was "eventually" localized. Years, and years, and years down the road. I'm sure it'll be the same for the other consoles. Used to be hyped about this game a LONG time ago. Now I have no interest whatsoever. Sega played around with fans who wanted a localization way too long on this one. Should have done this way back in the day.

Damn, you must have felt that one deeply. That you even remembered that article lol

rainslacker1784d ago

It was like 3 days ago. Doesn't take much to remember.

Goes to show how little investigative journalism goes into game's journalism. Basically, knee jerk reaction opinion pieces.

Coming to PS4 and Switch, which basically kills any reason to get it on Xbox

If it's cross progression then I'll also get it on Switch. First on XBOX One X though.

Oh great, now we have to deal with Anasts Bethesda fetish indefinitely.

Thanks a lot, Todd

You're welcome for the free entertainment. Usually, it comes at a cost of $70 because of inflation.

Crows901d 7h ago

That's an inflated price...

@Crows

It would be if it weren't a valuable resource.

"with no plans to retire anytime soon" I mean this is like a common news topic involving his name. Knock it off and do some actual newsing. This is like the biggest "No Duh" article of the day, and several sites had to regurgitate it. Geez. So lame.

This is when he'll retire.

He doesn't have to retire, just the stupid outdated garbage creation engine.

Netimmerse 4.0, presumably 5.0 for TES6. They should give the Fallout IP to Obsidian, and have it made in UE5.
