Gaming Boulevard wrote an opinion piece explaining why they think Xbox reclaimed the E3 crown.
Backward compatibility works for many games on newer consoles, but titles such as The Simpsons: Hit and Run have been left out.
The Xbox brand is expanding, as an Xbox mobile game store is opening this coming July where Microsoft will brings its "first-party portfolio."
“Bond adds that they will start on the web”
This will go nowhere.
Nice knowing you Xbox. This is what happens when the house never gets cleaned.
The only this MS is expanding is the amount of feculence it sprays on everyone who just want to enjoy gaming and make games.
The best thing MS can do for the gaming industry is leave and never return.
"The Warsaw-based (Poland) indie games publisher Untold Tales and indie games developer Exit Plan Games, are today very happy and excited to announce that they have just released the free "Wild West" update for their open-world sandbox/adventure “Bang-On Balls: Chronicles“ (the said update is available right now for PC and consoles worldwide)." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
An opinion already ready when the show just ended and E3 isn't even over.
Edit: This isn't to say they didn't have a good show, because they did. We see games we're going to play in the future. But, this opinion was immediate and claiming crown-sake with the first real conference the only thing done so far.
Cgi trailers ftw
It did a decent job. I preferred last years E3, it was better paced.
-The leaks ruined some of the surprises. I'm glad Ninja Theory clear things for people who have to be spoon fed info. They are working on multiple projects.
-I did not like the Gears 5 announcement. They did a grand disservice by not showing gameplay. I know it will be on mixer later one but that was the stage to show it.
-I would cut some Indies out.
-Halo was marvelous
-The Scarlett announcement was great but it should have been midshow.
-The Xcloud stuff was a bit confusing...need to rewatch it.
-Double fine acquisition great but I was expecting more acquisitions. Double fine is a great addition.
-Not enough gameplay demos
-I know the new studios are not ready to show anything but I would have been cool if they shows some exclusives.
-No Fable was quite a surprise considering Playground games showwd a snippet of Thier second team on twitter, which they dubbed it a AAA RPG studio
Best E3 Microsoft has ever had. I'd give them an A- because I expected them to go in depth with regards to XCloud.
I'm guessing the Xbox Game Pass announcement will happen during Nintendo's Direct.
MS needs to stop this fascination with indie games. That's whats killing it for me. No Fable 4 pretty sad. Conference overall mediocre. Looks like all their games will be purely next gen now.
