Killzone isn’t dead. We saw Guerilla make another IP, but that doesn’t mean they abandoned the previous one.

naruga1823d ago (Edited 1823d ago )

the worst by far was Mass effect -Anthem ....this thing was obviously designed to be one game (probably Mass effect) but the greediness of EA reached such high peaks that destroyed themselves ....they decided instead off spending a good of ammount(+recousrces) of work to one solid Mass effect game, to make 2 games and also a new IP with even more transactions...the result =fraudy announcements ,cheapness and sloppy work everywhere and the most important of all, at last gamers undestood what shty company EA was all along

andibandit1823d ago (Edited 1823d ago )

Not that Im fond of EA,but after 6 years of development id problably want some results.

I don't think you guys no what the word dead means

saladthieves1825d ago

I'm sure most of these franchises aren't "dead". The definition of dead in this article is either hasn't been released in years, poor sales, lack of support or any combination of all three, which might be misleading.

Top 10 gaming websites that lost their reputation this gen

Shows what you know: I have now idea who gamersheroes.com are.

P_Bomb1824d ago (Edited 1824d ago )

I don’t think an IP’s dead just because it’s been a few years since the last. Especially if the developer’s been busy.

For that reason I don’t think Killzone is necessarily killed. Uncharted didn’t die during the 5 year gap between 3 and 4 when ND switched gears to TLOU. Came back and sold more than ever.

Dead Space on the other hand. When the developer gets shut down and the publisher stops supporting the genre, yeah you can make a case.

Heavenly Sword is probably dead. The animated Netflix movie I saw pop up a couple years ago was the only new addition this gen. Developer got bought by MS.

Now we'll have to see how much the Master Collection will add to those numbers.

Number1TailzFan203d ago

Too bad it was a lazy release. They could've updated the visuals and everything. Missed opportunity.

Stanjara203d ago

...and yet, they couldn't give more respect and effort into the collection.
What a terrible company.

Minute Man 721203d ago (Edited 203d ago )

Are they counting every game?

Edit: they did

Nyxus203d ago

Yes, these are total lifetime sales of the entire series.

ApocalypseShadow203d ago

.... mostly with the help of PlayStation.

Yea I don’t get why they’re allowing old reviews to be posted here. Someone did one on Soul Reaver and I got so excited thinking there was some stealth release of an HD Remaster, but no… it’s just someone who had a slow day posted an old review…

Cacabunga219d ago

I liked the game but for me it felt somehow like a military simulator rather than a proper MGS.. i got bored of that

micdagoat19219d ago

I do wish they would remaster all the soul reavers

micdagoat19219d ago

it was done this morning though

goldwyncq219d ago

The author was in a coma for 9 years and didn't get to play the game when it released.

Chocoburger219d ago

This review arrived just in time for launch. Perfect timing!

RupeeHoarder219d ago

Amazing how bad this game looks already. We keep acting like this gen doesn't feel like an update but I think we're starting to see it.

YourMommySpoils219d ago

Looks better than Starfield, Cyberpunk and most recent games out. Still fine.

RupeeHoarder219d ago

It most certainly does not lol.

andy85219d ago

Have you player Cyberpunk since the first day? It's absolutely stunning now

One of the worst games ever made. Absolute overhyped trash!

Snowb420219d ago

The gameplay was great. It was the tacked on open world and repetitive missions that messed the game up.

Shane Kim219d ago

The game started really strong in that hospital, but after a couple of hours I wondered if it was even an mgs game I was playing.

KyRo218d ago

The hospital section was the only bit that felt like a MGS game.

MGS4 was the ending for me. I totally ignore the fact 5 exists. It didn't need to exist tbh
