There are a lot of great games out right now. But none of them are Twisted Metal and that's a problem. Twisted Metal Battle Royale, anyone?
Everyone knows Twisted Metal... I mean literally everyone! Whether it is simply a childhood classic for you, or one of the worst, mind-corrupting disgraces to entertainment you can think of, you've at least heard of this iconic title.
The WellPlayed crew gathers to pitch an appropriately deranged set of options for the future of Twisted Metal.
All I ask for is a new Twisted Metal that allows flat screen & PSVR2 cross play that also supports a wheel.
Would be heaven.
They need to get the enemy AI balance right. Thats what made 2 the best in the series. Black was abysmal in that dept.
You don't. Do sequels. If you've gotta reboot, might as well do a new IP. God of War is the only game I can say that did a successful reboot
The rumours were legit. The Twisted Metal franchise is coming back, Sony
officially announced at CES 2022.
I hope it follows the gameplay style of hardware rivals, seriously that game was awesome to play
Apparently the last one made for this generation wasn't all that good!
Twisted Metal is a problematic franchise and Sony Interactive Entertainment does not support problematic games. Games should be safe! Twisted Metal is not safe!
I don't think the genre is that popular anymore. The last game sold horribly.
Edit: Actually, now that I think about it, in a world where Rocket League is successful, Twisted Metal could definitely make a comeback. Possibly with a Rocket League type side mode.
Racing games, arena shooters other than "human" have fallen out of favor. Devs forgot how to make them, and that includes David Jaffe.
It's an outdated game. Simple as that. It like asking why hasn't there been a new Tetris lol. Don't @ me
