From Cinelinx:
We're taking a trip down memory lane as we play the original Star Wars: The Phantom Menace game on the PlayStation for the first time!
Star Wars fans unite to petition the return of 'The Phantom Menace' PS1 classic to PS4 and PS5. Explore their nostalgic journey and hopes for a remastered release.
This was a weird one. While it had some of the cheesiness you had to expect from licensed games of that era, in some respects it was also far deeper than a lot of contemporary PS1 games. It had a respectable dialogue system (which includes the ability to use Jedi mind tricks) and some pretty fun levels. The controls and perspective would feel horrible to modern gamers though.
This game was awful. I got up to the part where you find Jar Jar and I just stopped.
Loved this game as a kid. Particularly kept replaying tatooine. Struggling to remember it all but there was a charm about it.

“Like most people, I just want an immersive, single player experience. The reality of this is slim; largely unprofitable for the casual market that’ll eat up another first-person shooter quicker than you can say, blast em’. That being said, I can’t help but remain faithful to the idea of another good Star Wars game, and anyone who says otherwise, well, I’ll find their lack of faith disturbing.”
I'd love a solid single player Star Wars game. Unfortunately, despite the whole gaming community slandering EA for the way in which Battlefront was released, nobody has voted with their wallets and the game has been a huge financial success. Say goodbye to single player games if that continues :/
It is a massive shame that a lot of these games never made it to our consoles... Never give up hope!!
Star Wars 1313 looked brilliant, and it would've been a great way to add another story to the ever-growing Star Wars EU. It's a shame that Disney decided to shelve it
A long time ago in a galaxy none to far away I recall hearing about, what has become in some fan circles as sacrilege, the prequel trilogy! (Insert doom and gloom music accordingly)
The level of excitement and anticipation I felt was almost unknowable as I remembered just what was so special about those original films as well as the realization that I hadn’t felt that way since seeing them for the first time.
There was much marketing advertisement you mean.
I swear, some of you people act like you didn't exist until the prequels.
NOW GET OFF MY LAWN!!!
its cool to see movies or video games with rich story and lots of imagination like star wars or halo or avatar or ....
Great game
