I like seeing our boys get some side work and all, but it’s fantasy training for actors in a video game. It’s a stunt for more sales. You don’t need to train the actors to work out and clear rooms like an authentic seal when the rest of the game goes goofy fictional with asinine gunplay as they always do.

I'm looking forward to the campaign but I'm really worried about the multiplayer maps. This is not the same InfinityWard that made MW1 and 2. This is the Walmart brand InfinityWard that was responsible for MW3, CoD:Ghosts, and Infinite Warfare. Although these games had great campaigns, the multiplayer maps were questionable to say the least. In MW3, their goal was to eliminate camping all together, but this only lead to awkward map design where the player NEVER felt safe. You were at a risk of getting shot no matter where you went. It's no coincidence that MW3 players had a much lower K/D ratio than in MW1+2.
The only good map in MW3 was Hardhat. Everything else was infuriating to play in. I wonder if they'll improve this time....

I am actually interested to see what they release since a lot of the old CoD devs from IW that left to work at Respawn have since returned to IW.

Those devs are most likely lower level positions such as texture artists, environmental artists, etc. The game industry has a lot of contract work where devs get paid to work at a company for a specific amount of time until the product gets released, and then they go out and find work in a different company. A lot of those Respawn workers coming into IW are probably temporary developers. It's very likely that the key directors hasn't returned to IW.
