RAGE 2 is a Manic, Exhilarating Dose of Post-Apocalyptic Carnage | Dualshockers

While 2019 might be the year of the colorful post-apocalyptic shooter, RAGE 2 looks like it will offer players a thrilling world to explore.

I want to be excited for this. Hell I've talked about being hyped up for RAGE 2 since it was announced on here but after playing Just Cause 4 and seeing what Generation Zero turned out to be(another damn Avalanche game I was so hyped for) I've cooled off some.

I loved JC2 and enjoyed JC3 and Mad Max but Avalanche's QA lately is questionable. I'm just hoping most of their talent has been working on Rage 2 and the B team worked on JC4 and GZ!

I also kind of enjoyed and completed jc3 (which i got from ps plus) but lets be honest, QA Teams were already on vacation during the development of this game.without playing it myself, I can't imagine jc4 to be more buggy, the gameplay and the visuals more outdated and the ai worse than it already was in jc3.

I feel ya but man when I fired up JC4 my jaw hit the floor. Not in the good way either. Their games have never been the best looking but they were fun. This was not and there were loads of technical issues as well. It's the worst HDR implementation I've seen because in most cases you can just cut it off but here it still looks like shit. Super dark shit and it's the game design that's off in most cases. Whether it's an server you have to protect that is in your line of fire to again having to protect another server and it being seemingly damaged by a ghost.

It feels less polished than part 3 or even part 2. I think I'm done with The Just Cause series because what I played in 4 was more of a chore than it was fun. I kept pushing myself and opened up most of the map but after a certain mission I just uninstalled it. I've never done this. Not with Dark Souls, Bloodborne because those loses were on me but this shit was not!

i am going to pass on this sequel. i got zero confidence that they were able to create something else we haven‘t seen in the first rage - which was mediocre at best.

Idk Maybe, The kill moves somewhat remind me of the different suite features. Haven't seen games that gave me a Crysis feel till now which in its self is odd. Also could be it's been way too long and my brain is just mixing things now.
