Good in comparison to the competition's offerings for sure. Conan Exiles is a very interesting choice too considering it contains nudity. Hopefully Sony wanted to offer it as a statement of intent going forward in regards to their excessive censorship complaints. I mean I can live with them censoring gratuitous anime boobs in niche titles but the DMC5 stuff was a step too far.

This is probably the only month I can remember where I don't want any of the games. Every other month has had at least 1 thing I want to try out.

Action rpgs really aren't my thing , especially futuristic ones and my internet is so terrible at the moment even path of exiles is a rubber banding fest so conan won't even be worth downloading.

I guess I can't complain though as every other month has had something at least.

The Surge can't hold a candle to Dark Souls. Its a pale imitation like Lords of the Fallen.

Could be better but both of these are solid. Both have also seen a lot of post launch support and improvements so they are better now than what reviews would have you believe.

I was waiting to see if I renew my PS plus subscription for single player games... Meh not worth it. If I played online then this would be a sweet bonus but otherwise not worth my hard earned cash.

Wow. The Surge is an awesome game, very under rated RPG.
Walk in the Park was a pretty good DLC for it too.

Not sure about Conan. I was interested, and glad I didn't buy it now.

Nice, been wanting to get The Surge but too many bigger games have been coming out that keep me occupied. Not too interested in Conan Exiles but still a noteworthy inclusion to the PS+ games, may check it out.

The Surge is exactly the kind of game PS Plus should offer as Free Games.
It's not a AAA title casual gamer is looking for, but a very good game everyone has to have an opportunity to try.

I don't usually say this about PS+ but what a waste of space. Conan is trash. Don't care how many units it has sold. Surge is like warhammer and dark souls 2 had a baby but that baby was actually a pile of sh*t.

Always thought The Surge would be one to not bother buying because it'll be on PS+ and here it is. Same for Lords of the Fallen which I quite liked, pretty sure the Surge is better from what I've heard.

I don't have any of these. I'll be sure to download them. Also I still haven't nabbed the ones for this month. I've been back logging lately between Assassin's Creed series (currently Brotherhood) and the Witcher 3. Although I will make time for Days Gone.

It’s all about expectations.

I don’t expect Sony to offer blockbusters every single month - it wouldn’t make business sense.

I expect most PSPlus games to be “decent to good” - not crap and the occasional “Wow!” I also expect and am ok with the fact that there will be a few months per year where I’m not interested in the games because overall, I am still getting a good value for what I pay.

With those expectations, I’m never disappointed - and this month I’m pretty happy. My backlog is so huge, I would probably never purchase either of these games, but I’m happy to try them both out.
