I think the sales will show who has a larger install base (you know, having a cheaper product a whole year and a bit ahead of the competition helps)

The sales will more likely show how one awesome game will sell on a console that only really has two main titles going for them. Fable 2 and Gears of War, vs. AAA titles and second highest rating games like Little Big Planet, Resistance 2, Wipeout HD, Socom, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue and Killzone 2 around the corner.

Why do fanboys care about what sells better does it truly make it a better game NO! look at SOTC this game was a masterpiece but did poor in sales so is that game trash ....NO! how many times do you see certain bands make one great CD that sells millions and the next sells allot because of who it is and turns out to be garbage. I'm not saying gears 2 will be garbage it s a day one for me but neither is R2 it looks amazing and Insomiac has truly stepped up there game, both games will be great on both system and for people who have both PS3 and 360 are the true winners on this.

LOL nothing against gears 2. I am going to get a copy myself. It will be 3rd title I will be getting for 360 but Resisitance 2 is pretty addictive too. And its very fun game.

As someone already said, according to sales... Nintendogs is the best game ever created.

As someone already said, sales just means you spent more on advertising.

As someone already said, greater sales of a console that has more units out on the market a year earlier doesn't really equate to much.

As a gamer, I care about gameplay and replay ability. 8 co-op 60mp Massive single player, never before seen scale is what I look forward to when I play a game. Else I'd just buy the Nintendo DS and Wii and be content that Nintendo is selling more than everyone out there. Thats what you should do, considering Micrsofots gaming division is DEAD LAST worldwide.

Thats if sales matter to you.

mate I'm merly commenting on the New Screenshots that have been posted on Gears Of War, thank god this time they aren't bullshots.

My Comment on these new 50 Screenshots is valid, and I added my own thoughts as to its significance against similar titles.

I don't think you know what spamming is. The comments section are meant for opinions on the story, and the above is my opinion on these new screenshots.

This is supposed to be the game that defines the 360's graphical supremacy over the PS3? Look at the vines/grass whatever on the side of the building; I think the PS2 could produce better textures than that.

If you honestly think that looks like good graphics then you are obviously a fanboy. Epic even said themselves that they are squeezing just about every ounce of strength out of the 360, so don't expect much of anything that looks better than this any time soon. Most of those screens don't even look anti-aliased. There is so much low res textures, and aliasing its almost difficult to look at.

some pictures are zoomed in because i dont remeber being that close the the caracter in gears 1, and you only can see half him in one of the screens. Bullshots some of them.

If you play gears you should know.

And gears dont look that bad for starters.

Right now no, socom isn't the best tactical shooter. but it will get there when all the issues are fixed. The gameplay itself is pretty solid.

This has neither the sheer scale and scope of Resistance 2 nor the pure fidelity and immersiveness of Killzone 2. This little corridor shooter that could has had it's day.

just like gears1 did back in 2006...I just signed back on live and it's been 465 days since i played on a 360 wow....Well i got Resistance2, cod5 ps3 and gears2 preorder and ready to go...It's going to be a tough week for me because Resistance1 campaign was great and gears multiplayer was the best before call of duty4...I got the 360 60gb holiday bundle with extra controller, mass effect, charge kit, hdmi cable for $270, can't beat that, manufacture date is 2008-09-10 so it's pretty quiet compare to my old one that i sold ...Game on

anyway I was at game the other day and a guy was buying for PS3 and Xbox-360, I asked which one he prefered and he said the Xbox-360 is his favorite, he said the PS3 is very good with some great exclusives but that it is way overated. I only say this because I am sick of the *anboys, when will you guys learn that the Xbox-360 is a great console, the new updates coming soon will make it even better.

It's all personal choice my friend, I own both consoles but the PS3 to me has the better exclusive(to me) I bought a 360 just for gears2 everything else i want to play is multiplatform which i would get on PS3 because my kid has a ps3 so he can play it as well....Why fight over stupid game consoles, let's enjoy the games..fanboys cant' make up their own minds, they need someone else to make it for them

but it really isn't about the graphics. I would say the first one had 9-10/10 graphics because it was soo long ago. This game looks about the same so id drop that to an 8. Some of those textures aren't the best. But this game is still awesome in terms of the fun I get out of it. Sooo whatever.

The recent vids with those two bosses didn't really impress me. They were too easy and seemed to lack AI. Maybe it was a lower difficulty, but I don't really know
