Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is getting some PlayStation exclusive goodies

In the State of Play stream they announced that Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, is getting some exclusive content on PlayStation 4, namely retro skins for Crash, Coco, & Cortex, retro karts, and a retro track to race on.

Retro re-skins... Meh the N64/PSX era of low polygons 3D graphics is by far to me the one that aged the worst. I find SNES games have aged better.

The sprites of the snes era are almost timeless. It's one of the reasons a lot of indie games today still have those kind of graphics. You really don't see a lot of N64/PS1 styles because I agree with you, they aged very badly.

I will chime in then... Im not a fan of 8bit! I love ps1/n64 graphics! I wish game makers would stop using 8bit for awhile it confused me when i see stuff at events like VGA and people cheering really loud like next gen consoles just got announced and its some 8bit game with simple gameplay and some text. I dont understand.

I get it that you can like a game, but I dont understand the reactions some times. I enjoyed pokemon gold and golden sun when I was young btw. Well thats my 2 cents

CTR is hailed by critics as the best kart racer ever made.
I hope this version lives up to the originals pedigree.

Even if it sells 5 million that will mean Crash is trully back to take on Mario and Sonic's popularity just like in the 1990s.
Activision could have very big plans for this franchise in the league of Sekiro.
