Everyone is hyped after the Stadia announcement and a lot of information was dropped. So let’s calm down for a moment and be rational on how this can play out.
Sony has kicked off the PlayStation Store "Days of Play" sale today, and this includes quite a number of AAA titles. Here's the full list.
"INDIE Live Expo, Japan’s premiere online digital showcase series connecting indie game fans all over the world, highlighted more than 150 games during its Saturday broadcast introducing world premieres, new trailers, and updates during its 10th-ever digital showcase." - INDIE Live Expo.

For the first time in a long time I have a hard time feeling excited for these events. Maybe it's because of all these massive lay offs and closures there hasn't exactly been good news since the start of the year.
Maybe come next week I'll get a little more excited but I dunno I just can't get too excited right now
Is it just me or is there little to no buzz or marketing leading up to this compared to previous SGF?
After the way they rudely hurried people off the stage at The Game Awards, I won't bother watching any of the streams for this. I'll just checkout out a few game trailers on Youtube after they're uploaded there.
Its something I couldn't use even if I wanted to...so its a non factor in gaming for me
Neither.
Clickbait title. Doesn't actually form any opinion. Filled was fallacies, for example, talking about "split screen is not a problem" or course it's a problem, you need 2x the bandwidth which is already an issue for many homes. etc. etc. it uses many terms loosely so it's not a surprise to find the word "hyped" in there. The only opinion in this 'opinion piece' is the statement 't’s guaranteed to shake-up the industry', well, I'm not so sure about that, and definitely would not take your word for it.
Neither its total flop at the gates just like many other streaming game services.
