VGChartz's Evan Norris: "It's refreshing to find a game like Aragami that throws itself so wholeheartedly into a single video game conceit. While a lot of modern games toss out wide, unfocused nets to collect the largest group of consumers, titles like Aragami focus like a laser on a small, dedicated fanbase that relishes a particular theme—stealth, in this case. For stealth diehards, this is a title worth your consideration; for all others, due to some simple artificial intelligence, clumsy presentation, and finicky mechanics, it's probably best reserved as a rental."
Daily Video Game writes: "Several popular games published by Merge Games and Playism are on sale with good discounts right now for Nintendo Switch gamers on eShop for a limited time, featuring many of their games such as Aragami, Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX, Record of Lodoss War-Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth and more!"
A number of new deals are up and running on the North American Switch eShop. These include 80’s Overdrive, Aragami: Shadow Edition, the BioShock/Borderlands/XCOM 2 collections, games from Capcom, and more.
Xbox Wire: "The November Games with Gold lineup is here! On the Xbox One, and the soon to be released Xbox Series X|S, dispatch your adversaries from the shadows in Aragami: Shadow Edition, and test your shooter skills in the aquatic world of Swimsanity! And for our classic lineup via Backward Compatibility, be all you can be in the original Xbox title, Full Spectrum Warrior and crack your whip and prepare for adventure in the Xbox 360 game, Lego Indiana Jones."
This is especially bad when you take into account what sony is offering on ps4 and ps5
I really enjoyed this game on PC, so unless the Switch version is significantly different I can't agree with this score. My score would be an 8.5. But, as usual, to each their own.
