Price will keep dropping.......mind you 20 months ago it was 250 now it’s 62 on sale and 80 for regular daily price.........in 2 years I will upgrade to the 1tb

To be honest, 256GB gives you plenty of space. Unless you go only digital, something like a 1TB card will probably rarely be required since the installs are relatively small when using a cart.

I’m all digital, I know I can archive once I reach closer to 400gb but I will still get 1tb doubt I fill that one up but it’s nice carrying all my games around without changing anything

@Gemmol - yep, that definitely helps you out for sure. Like you said before, by like later next year the 1TB will be relatively cheap and you can make the jump no problem.

Yep......I use to be physical but then I sold Zelda and Mario kart for 50 and 55 when they both came out and pay difference to get it digital since then everything is all digital I started with 128gb card then upgrade to 400gb when it drop to 80 so much space now and no more having to archive anything

Had to archive Doom to free up space on my 200 gig card. Doubt I'll ever redownload it with Doom Eternal coming soon.

Don’t know where you get your info from I use the same card it is fast, read amazon reviews

Do not get me wrong going faster than 100mb per second would be nice but it’s not really needed for switch

Too big for indie games if you only put indie games it probably take 200 to 300 games to fill it up, unless it’s indie games that have a big file for the first time

Indies will filled it in an instant, the Switch is flooded with indies games.
