Games as a Service, Looter Shooters, MMO-lite, whatever you want to call these games, they need some time off while the genre settles.
Spring has arrived in Appalachia and that means that it is time to go on a cleaning spring in Fallout 76 during the Spring Cleaning event.
Fallout 76 players have dropped the big one on Phil Spencer in response to Xbox's closures of Arkane Austin and Tango Gameworks this week.
Six years of updates have mutated this wasteland into something much more entertaining.
Did people get their canvas bags after all (after being doxxed on the forums of course) ?
If they're gonna update their review on this then they hafto update their review for every game smh
But everyone is fine with No Man's Sky being re-reviewed after being released broken at launch? And it was even falseley advertised which is even more ridiculous. Oh but wait it's on PS.
GaaS needs to take the rest of gaming's existence off.
Now this is a cause that I would get behind. FInally the gaming industry is waking up to the fact the GaaS model is fundamentsally set up to exploit gamers, by providing sub-par and unfinished games and asking gamers to pay perpetually for drip-fed contant that should have been there on day one.
F2P games and Subscriptional games shouldn't be called with the same name like GaaS. Both are different one is free to play the other one is not.
I really don’t like how some developers handled GaaS so far. In my opinion some GaaS games are just like early access or FTP games.
How about finish a game first and then release it, not the other way around?
