What if I'm offended by their censoring? Guess that doesn't matter though.

CrimsonWing691919d ago

That's the thing, forget what we want, it's all about what these people who have no interest in the game want.

Eonjay1919d ago

Wait, this is really confusing:

Warning: Spoilers:

OK so it seems like at 1st the concern was that Sony was going to have this game censored but then it turned out that The developers themselves removed or modified a scene which depicted a character changing their sex. So now you have one camp that thinks that the devs are censoring the game and then you have another camp that applauds the devs for censoring it because they don't like transexuals. Those people think that the individuals complaining about the Censorship are social Justice Warriors.

This is an unwinnable situation because the very people against censorship are supporting censorship here.

What a mess. Look you can be anti censorship and pro censorship at the same time. Make up your mind all or nothing.

CaptainObvious8781918d ago

@Eonjay

Who the hell is applauding the devs for removing transsexuals because they don't like them? I'm calling complete BS on that claim. I only ever see people calling out censorship, unless they're a sexist sjw in which case they would be pro trans.

Vhampir1917d ago

The issue they are whining about is because the "good ending" shows Eric's true form. The thought of someone being happy with themselves as they are born is apparently extremely offensive.

Ogygian1918d ago (Edited 1918d ago )

You're not a journalist so your views don't get turned into the headlines which seem to dictate the direction of the world.

rainslacker1917d ago

You'd think after more than 2 decades of anime and game fans saying they prefer more accurate translations, and making it known they like the content to represent the culture of was made for because that's what we like about it...as in not just being more western, but different...that this wouldn't be an issue anymore. Long gone are the days where anime was niche, and working designs had to completely change pop culture references so people would understand them.

Now we get people who judge without context, wouldn't play the game anyways, and somehow feel it's an attack on them.or the people playing are too influenced by the content so it holds them back, coupled with people who feel they have to defend others so they can feel good about themselves, making a fuss over everything. This makes companies think we're all too.sensitive, and unable to understand context, or they just don't want to deal with the fall out

ReVibe1917d ago (Edited 1917d ago )

This. The only thing that gives these people any semblance of happiness is to lament how terrible the world is, regardless of which direction their invisible pendulum sways. "We NEED more DIVERSITY! Oh... this culture passively accepts alternative orientation....PASSIVELY?!

IF YOU EXHIBIT -MY- CULTURE, YOU'RE GONNA WORSHIP IT GODDAMMIT!!!"

Activemessiah1919d ago

God forbid there's a WW3... how will these people cope..

i say just send them to the battlefield

salmonade1919d ago

Outrage culture and people constantly being offended will ruin everything in the end.

annoyedgamer1919d ago

I posted something in this over a week ago. It was failed for being baseless.

ChrisW1918d ago

Not to mention that there's really nothing worth reporting about this game...

Can anyone recommend anything from this list?

4 dollars a game in the Ezio collection isn’t bad if you last played them over ten years ago, but now in 4k for some great memories.
