'Need' is too strong a word imho.

ziggurcat1896d ago

no game needs a battle royale mode.

PhantomS421896d ago

No game needs a Battle Royale mode, it's garbage and only hurts the game and developers reputation.

PhantomS421895d ago

No thanks, I like to relax and unwind with Tetris not ruin it with Battle Royale.

anonymousfan1895d ago

It's not like you can't play tetris by yourself anymore. Have you tries it, Tetris 99?

KwietStorm_BLM1895d ago

It's garbage and only hurts developers reputation? Where are you even coming from with this nonsense?

Omegasyde1896d ago

Back in my day.....👴🏻

It was called KoTH, and we didn’t need no rockets or gizmos. Tbagging wasn’t just allowed, it was encouraged. We would baserape excuse me “spawn camp” because it was tacitcal.

Now a days, you cannot even mention “Lipton” and if want to unlock something it cost real money.

The heck with these games, I an going back to playing Unreal Tournament II and Oregon Trail (the original dark souls).

All I ask for is a new Twisted Metal that allows flat screen & PSVR2 cross play that also supports a wheel.
Would be heaven.

Babadook7285d ago

Wow. I like the idea of VR twisted metal with a wheel.

Rebel_Scum285d ago

They need to get the enemy AI balance right. Thats what made 2 the best in the series. Black was abysmal in that dept.

neomahi285d ago

You don't. Do sequels. If you've gotta reboot, might as well do a new IP. God of War is the only game I can say that did a successful reboot

TiredGamer285d ago (Edited 284d ago )

Isn’t the new GoW just a sequel technically?

I personally think they can leverage the roots of the series. The original TM in 1995 took place on Christmas Eve 2005, and it was the 10th contest in history. Why not “reboot” the franchise by making a prequel of sorts showing the origin story of the series and maybe linking all the future games in a brilliant way. Seems like such an obvious idea to leverage old with the new (kind of look how Doom 2016 did with its lore).

No one cares. The whole can it run Crysis is old, dead and stupid. It's also irrelevant, considering only less than one percent of pc owners, own a high-end PC. Second, I believe Crysis wasn't even optimized properly.

TheColbertinator389d ago

Crysis blew my mind back then and still kinda does.

bunt-custardly389d ago

Let's hope the modders can get the other Crysis games working in VR as they use the same Cryengine.
