Gore in Doom 2016 isn't that disgusting.

Gore in itself doesn't have to be that disturbing. It depends on how it's designed. Doom is a perfect example of that. There's so much gore in that game, but only a small portion of it makes me cringe (which is intentional, to have more shock value in some instances). You can tell the whole thing is stylized to make it a bit cartoony and silly.

Prototype 1 and 2 is very gory, but most of it isn't that disturbing because of the way it's presented.

This game so far, has been absolutely incredible. Earlier, I was trapped by an enemy and blasted him in the torso with the trusty shotgun as I didn't have the time for a headshot. To my astonishment, it cut him clean in half exposing his entrails from his still walking legs. I thought that was that dealt with but suddenly his upper torso came after me to have a zombie snack on my leg. After wriggling free and a nasty bite, I pumped about three shots into it's head, which exploded in a veritable & visceral bloodbath. So far my score would be 9.5 to 10.

Pretty much. Someone above mentioned the cartel videos. Nothing in this game effects me to a whole percent as seeing some poor girl being stabbed in the face, alive, with a screwdriver in 240p.

I'll never understand why Capcom are seemingly overlooked as developers. When you account for the sheer amount of titles they produce in comparison to other companies, they perhaps have the best track record across the board.

Picked up the game on the Pro in the hope that it will get VR support in the future. Was really disappointed though after playing the demo on PC as it looks pretty crap on console.

Kinda wish I would of bought it on Steam & GameStreamed it.

About three hours in.. playing it on hardcore, has absolutley gained it's right to be called survival horror on that difficulty, loving the juicy gore and physical damage effects on Leon!
