Developer Nine Dots has released a second Dev Diary for its upcoming hardcore survival RPG Outward, with new footage focusing on how you’ll have to endure the unforgiving world as you travel through it.
Nine Dots Publishing and developer Nine Dots Studio have announced open-world action RPG sequel Outward 2 for unspecified consoles and PC (Steam). A release date was not announced.
Truly great multiplayer RPGs are few and far between, but this genre is home to some phenomenal titles from over the years.

The game in DE does not support steam cloud saves. It's now only lighthouse stash that is sharable with the online players...
I dunno man, l don't think the devs of this game actually give a shit and are just trying to resell their game.
Nothing is changed in the storyline - you're still hardlocked to the faction you pick til end game
i'm REALLY liking what i'm seeing from this game, was sitting here watching him talk about the importance and effects of having a backpack and was thinking "man it would be awesome if you could drop it and come back for it later, but they wouldn't do that, that's be something that would have to be accurately tracked and a small studio like this probably wouldn't try that" and before i could even finish that thought they show that you CAN in fact do just that.
And navigating realistically via view of landmarks and plain map is something I've always been fascinated in. I have been wanting a game to attempt this for a over a decade.
Overall it looks a bit rough, but with such cool ideas i'm sold, if only to support the devs, but honestly i don't see how i personally wouldn't enjoy this game
