Many of the older classics from Square Enix have lately been treated rather unfairly by the Japanese publisher. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided was an excellent game but severely lacked in content, and as a result was met with poor sales, followed by the shelving of the franchise. Hitman had a similar fate.
Cultured Vultures: With the World of Assassination Trilogy wrapped up, here's our thoughts on the best and the worst in the series.
Megan writes: "This announcement is dedicated to everyone who loves games, loves reading about games, or those people who click on links about games – this one’s for you. We’ve got more coming to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass soon; some are even available today! Whether you’re looking to squad up with your friends to take on a constantly evolving alien threat, become a world class assassin, or planning to brush up on your dog photography skills (we’ve seen them on Instagram!), we’ve got you covered. Let’s dig into the games!"
Gamepass just eating a bowl of W's cereal this month! I need to sub for a few more years before the price goes up!
Death's Door is seriously a fantastic game. I highly recommend everyone play it.
I have never played a Hitman so this is absolutely great news for me
GP just keeps getting better
Here's a step by step guide on how to do it:
1) Redeem Hitman 2 off PS Plus and then download the Hitman 3 Starter Pack.
2) Claim Hitman 3 Access Pass: Hitman 2 Standard off the PS Store.
3) Play Hitman 2 through Hitman 3 by launching the PS5 Starter Pack.
When trying to download the access pass it says 'Not available for purchase' and the only option is to add it to the wishlist.
Any clue what to do?
Hitman: Absolution is still my favorite in the series
They are better off doing things themselves without a company like Square breathing down their necks. Good for them for wanting to be independent.
I didn't think Hitman 2 did many new things over the first one but at least it felt more refined and wasn't split into episodes.
Square Enix is the next company I sense will "Konami" itself very soon. In other words, go to "Silent Hill;" personal hell, face your darkest nightmares, ect. Ubisoft, EA and Bethesda are all at the gates as well.
I heard Hitman 2 isn't doing too well financially though, which is a shame I hope that info incorrect Hitman 2 is amazing.
Best Hitman is Blood Money. I don't like their "stories" in missions nor very limited equipment selection before missions which is tied to being always online but the biggest game mechanic they ditched was GPS map which was awesome; instead they are using eagle vision equivalent shit now for the past 2 or 3 games(did absolution have it?). tl;dr I can't enjoy latest 2 Hitmans.
