Famitsu review scores (12/25/18)

This week's Famitsu scores include the first verdict for New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe.

32/40 for mario and monster boy? Even if they had a lower score i would have bought them.

Great game can't wait to play it again and die over and over in the Luigi levels.

I think the Dragon Quest Builders 2 score was spot on, my wife is having such a blast playing it. She has built entire valleys with railroads... Completely absorbed in the game, stealing my holiday game time... We were thinking of buying that 2D Mario game, but not sure after these scores if its worth it.

Monster Boy looked really good, too.

It's great if you like 2d Mario games I feel like a lower score is just a reflection of it being a port and not a brand new game but it's incredibly fun playing alone and co-op

Good to know! I was thinking if that is the case. Typically Famitsu doesn't care about the value proposition and just looks at games individually so the score made me think if this Mario game wasn't as good as most of them. Between Odyssey and this, which do you think is the greater fun for two people?

You've played Dragon Quest Builders 2? Sweet! I thought only the japanese version was out? Do you understand japanese or do you know if it has english? Thanks!!
