From VG247: "When Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee were first announced, I was unsure on its mix of classic mechanics and those lifted from Pokemon Go. Now, however, I’m convinced one major change is the future of the series. That change is the decision to strip wild Pokemon battles out of the game."
A recent lawsuit against Pokemon Go maker Niantic claims the company made it difficult for minors to get refunds for in-app purchases. This could be relevant if your child under 18 spent real money on the game between July 2016 and the present.
After the release of the horrid avatar update, Pokémon GO fans are trying to get items refunded. This has led to some getting threats of being banned.
The avatar update for Pokémon GO has officially been rolled out and fans are not happy about it. Some are demanding refunds for previously purchased clothing.
If it's in the same style as let's go then yeah but it's anything like the fan concept we saw earlier in the week then I think it would be cool to actually control the Pokemon for battles then use the go mechanic for capture.
About 6 hours into Lets Go and the lack of wild battles is growing on me, but I will say it definitely takes some of fun out of the game. Just spamming pokeballs to try and catch every pokemon you see is no where near as rewarding as the challenge to try and actually fight it to a manageable health before attempting to catch it.
Why can't they just give the option for wild battles in settings?
Um no
The next Pokémon game should lend a lot of things from Let's go , have the Pokémon walking around like let's go , but battle them to catch them. It will have all the features that have been "removed" from let's go even though they haven't been removed as Let's go is a faithful reamagining of the original Pokemon games.
I definitely can't go back to random encounters , it's completely out of date.
