Looks like we might be getting an official reveal for Square Enix's The Avengers Project as the game's official site just got updated with the game's developers teasing an announcement.
Sony is skipping E3 this year, but there are still tons of games to fill this void. More information on these games should deter the pitchfork mobs for now.
I really enjoyed Beyond Good and Evil, but how many times has the sequel not shown up at E3 due to the game being vaporware? Prepare to riot then, if its presence is one of your terms for refraining from doing so.
Marvel doesn't just have a bright future ahead of it in films, but in the gaming realm as well. Some exciting new titles are showing up on all hardware, so does that mean gamers are finally catching up with the MCU?

If Thanos is the main antagonist I'd love to see a scenario where if certain conditions are met and Thanos gets the completed infinity gauntlet he would snap his fingers and the game would uninstall. How's that for a real game consequence to our actions?
For me, if it isn't on Switch is no buy. Switch is the only platform worth to have.
My Switch nicely compliments my MC, but I could never see me satisfied with it as my sole gaming device.
A single player driven game with drop in and out co-op
What we'll get
A GaaS driven online only multiplayer game where like Destiny, the Division and Anthem the majority of the "content" will come from you and your friends grinding, replaying the same bunch of missions over and over again.
Considering it's been over two years? I want to see the game. Show me gameplay, not some CG trailer.
I hope this delivers, good super hero games are few and far between. Edit: after checking out their page looks like this is to kick off multiple games, that's great news!

If it has all characters, environments, and iconic moments but an original story, then it could very well be something along the lines of say an X-Men Legends/MUA game (Crystal dynamics has experience with top down games due to Lara Croft side titles, but are much, much smaller scale of course and Eidos could be focusing on the rpg aspects of it). That’s what I have always seen as a perfect overall MCU (Avengers) game that just hasn’t happened yet. They could always add new stories (characters and levels) as new games release as well which would fit gaas rumor model.
Or an mmo like Marvel heroes but better, much better.
It’s hard to imagine what else it could be really and include every character and their specific skills and combat styles in a single game and not be a mess.
After that, who knows where they could take it since it’s a multiple games deal.
I really do hope it's a game where you can make your own superhero with different powers, kind of like DC universe online, except just fresher. That game is pretty dated now anyways.
