I can’t for the life of me get excited for more NES games

Neonridr2019d ago

I can most certainly get excited for Metroid. Fantastic game.

I'm actually loving super Mario Bros 3 and TLOZ special edition and River city ransom. These are amazing games, some of the NES games in there though are awful. The online multiplayer implementation is pretty cool as well. We'll have GB, GBA , SNES and all sorts soon.

more nes games no one wants to play in 2018? way to make money with nostalgia. or should i say money for nothing? the n house is the most greedy of the manufacturers (and they are not even among the competition with their subpar approach) and the most hostile. it is disgusting and offpushing.

“and they are not even among the competition with their subpar approach”

Really now. They have been outselling the X1 and regularly outsell the PS4 as well. Its time you stop commenting on a Nintendo article.

Ok 25 are too many but then again so many consoles have been released throughout the years.

If I had to choose 5, I would pick N64, PS1, Switch, Dreamcast and Gamecube (based on the time I spent playing with friends on consoles).

For home consoles (not handhelds) I have created a mini interactive encyclopedia here as a hobby

Video games have a fascinating history

Tapani116d ago (Edited 116d ago )

I'd choose PS1 as my first choice due to the amount of RPGs that were groundbreaking and still hold up well. PS2, SNES, PS4, NES and Switch are the next entries.

I own a PS5, but have not bought a single PS5 game on it, bought it to play my PS4 catalogue with it, but unfortunately the patches are far and in between. At least the sound quality is better than on the PS4 and PS4P, menus and loading faster, and it is silent and the controller is good.

Commodore Amiga CD32 was an amazing piece of kit with the jump from floppy to compact disc it were like witchcraft I'll tell ya

SyntheticForm117d ago

The PS1 was probably the most exciting for me.

SNES, Sega CD, and everything else in the 90's were also very exciting. Just an exciting decade all around with some absolutely fantastic gaming.

Wow, can’t believe they whittled this list down to only 25. I was trying to make a list of the best U.S. states and could only whittle it down to 50.

anast116d ago (Edited 116d ago )

PS1-5 and the NES are the top 6 consoles. Since Nintendo hasn't done anything different since the NES, the NES is the one to beat.

The top 2 are PS1 and PS4.
