IGN writes: "Many gamers are suffering from a very serious addiction. Luckily, until now we could only get our fix on PC, which has limited the reach of this dangerous drug. We speak, of course, of Peggle, PopCap's insanely addictive puzzle game. But next year, this disease will spread to our living rooms on Xbox Live Arcade and out into the whole world on the Nintendo DS. No use fighting it -- you will eventually succumb to Peggle. We finally got our hands on the DS version and were happy to find the same game we've come to love on PC with some added bonus features.
If you have thus far avoided the hypnotic pull of Peggle, the game can be described as a mix between pachinko and pinball. Players launch a ball from the top of the screen which bounces down through a maze of pegs, clearing any that it touches. With the help of physics and a little luck (okay, a lot of luck), the goal is to clear all the orange pegs from the board. But that only scratches the surface of what Peggle is all about. "
GF365: "I recently bought an Xbox Series X, largely because of Xbox Game Pass. Even with the powerful new hardware, I somehow find myself playing the Xbox 360 classic Peggle."
It’ll blow your mind that peggle 2 is on game pass. I tried it, got bored pretty quickly but if you like it try it out!
After all, 'filthy' and 'casual' are both fun things to be.
Arcade racers on console and tower defence games on my phone. Love a rock hard TD game.
PC gamers can grab Peggle for free right now and keep it forever over on Origin.
