So EA is usual EA Not surprising

WANNAGETHIGH2056d ago

EA being EA, but am still looking forward to Anthem. That game shows lots of potential.

Kumakai2055d ago

i agree with you. unfortunately for your disagrees, its cool and trendy to hate on EA now so no matter what good they do from here on out, the petty elitists will just troll. gone are the days of open minds and reasonable people.

Seraphim2055d ago (Edited 2055d ago )

Key words, "shows lots of potential." While that it does, at the end of the day, I am highly suspect of it and think it's going to be nothing more than a month long adventure w/ and w/o friends. Anything more is a bonus. I think that potential is going fall short of where it should stand. But at the end of the day, despite being an EA game, I too am definitely looking forward to it. Though I will always be disturbed, annoyed and PO'd about them closing Visceral Games.

sawoosevens2055d ago

I agree with you imma buy the game but as soon I smell Destiny like practices I never again in my life buy another EA or Activision, bungie game.

They already killed all my favorite Franchises so forget EA

TheEnigma3132055d ago

Dead Space, Titanfall, Dante's Inferno, are some of the few that deserved better.

Kumakai2055d ago

yeah. never give them an opportunity to ever try to make something good ever again. everyone must do what each of us want individually or else....

AngelicToucH2055d ago

But Titanfall was and is a great game..the only thing is that people actually tended to ignore this microtransaction free game while they kept complaining about the ones who are full of them but decided to buy those instead of Titanfall...so it's kinda the fault of the consumer for showing them that microtransactions are the future.

Oschino19072055d ago (Edited 2055d ago )

Maybe not everyone was interested in multiplayer focused wall running futuristic FPS games with Mechs. I thought it looked cool but had no interest in getting either game.

Not to mention EA barely promoting it like those other games and it never gaining a steady following of fans (playing, streaming, watching, etc..).

No one bought those other games because they support microtransactions, they were more popular franchises with a lot more marketing dollars behind them.

I had no interest in Battlefront 2 after the first was screwed up but I got it on sale for under $20 later specifically so my nephews who love Star Wars everything would be able to enjoy it's offline modes considering the first was pretty barren offline. Although I wish they had Walker Assault offline like the first because my nephews still play it almost as much as the new one just for the large scale battles in big open maps.

I honestly can't think of a single person I know irl or online that was into Titan Fall and it certainly didn't look like a bad game at all. Imo there are just too many good/great online games these days with some putting content out for years.

I can't count how many games this gen looked fun and enjoyable that I have ignored or not played because I simply don't have the time or money to invest in them all. I have drastically cut back on buying games the last year or two and still have a backlog I will never finish or have time to even get into some of the games even though I had every intention to do so.

Crossplay Will Be In College Football 25 But Not In Online Dynasty Mode

EA Sports dropped their first gameplay trailer for College Football 25 today and the game looks truly amazing. Buried in the details of the game hype, however, is a significant letdown for those who play online dynasty (a significant portion of the userbase).

Resident Evil 1 Remake To Have Slower Pace; Will Further Expand On The Game's Lore

Many details for the upcoming rumored Resident Evil 1 remake have already leaked online. Capcom appears to have huge ambitions for it.

XiNatsuDragnel1d 4h ago

Sounds interesting I'll be interested in the second remake of re1

Cacabunga1d 3h ago

They game cube remake was mind blowing.. another remake would be nice but i was really hoping for Code Veronica first

-Foxtrot1d 3h ago

If it's true they are probably leading up to RE5 with the Chris vs Wesker story

RE1, CV and then RE5

Terry_B1d 2h ago

Their REmake is still one of the best 3 video game remakes ever made.

Cacabunga1d 1h ago

Terry

Zero was not a remake but an amazing game as well. I hope they remake that one one day with some coop play.. great great game

maelstromb21h ago

The whole Lisa Trevor side-story was an incredible addition and really fleshed out more of the lore. It could have easily felt tacked on to artificially extend the length of the game, but it felt 'right' like it should have been in there from the beginning. I'm hoping they include that in the Re-remake.

Yui_Suzumiya7h ago

Code Veronica definitely needs it the most!

Cant wait until they cut the basement section and replace it with something worse.

Becuzisaid1d 4h ago

While I want another modern remake of 1, I think code Veronica should be first. The first re1 remake holds up amazingly well. Give CV it's due.

Scissorman1d 4h ago

As long as the Crimson Heads are back.

Nerdmaster15h ago(Edited 15h ago)

I hope they don't. They were created mainly to justify Wesker not really dying, and they do create more tension, but they don't make much sense.
Re-reviving things that were twice dead? Why would the virus stop there and not keep reviving them forever (until the head gets destroyed)?
And also the characters knowing that destroying their heads keep them from becoming crimson heads, while having a combat knife and lots of heavy objects around to do it while they're down, but having to rely on lucky shots or burning them with oil?
They can create other stuff that serves the same purpose of creating tension but that makes more sense.
