A music game that's not even current, kung fu panda (utter crap), and Lego Indy are what constitute a good deal. Pardon me as I laugh my @$$ off. You know what's a good bundle? Well, that's actually not that big of a deal...MS has added Kung-Fu Panda and Lego Indy to ALL 360 Pro and Elite bundles, standard, regardless of where you buy them. (The Arcade gets Sega Superstar Tennis and five arcade games).

So that part's free as it is.

But the GH3 bundle for $50, when it's usually $90-$100...that's a good buy.

I tried to trade in Forza 2/Viva Pinata when I got my 360 and they wouldn't let me because the way the discs were packed (2 discs in one DVD case), there was no SKU number or barcode they could use to track it.

If they do the same thing, trading goes right out the window.

It's decent but Microsoft stated from the beginning they were trying to reach hardcore gamers. Let me tell you these games are NOT hardcore games. I can see they aim for the kids mainly with this bundle but why bother? The holiday line-up is mostly shooters aside from Banjo.
I dont see why Microsoft has to change its target audience all of a sudden, the Wii is already dominating that part and if they dont watch it, they will lose some of that hardcore crowd to the PS3.

Yesterday I saw a PS3 bundle go by on a dutch shopping site called "Bol.com". They offered a PS3 bundle with 3 games: Farcry 2, GTA 4 and Assassins Creed. Now I have to add that is one hell of a sweet bundle since all 3 games are truely revolutionary in it's own way. If I was Microsoft I would offer such a bundle as well to target the crowd they aim for. The Xbox is NOT a kids console and it will never be so as much value as this package may sound, it's more logical if Microsoft sticks with the path they've chose from the beginning. Try and get more hardcore crowd, kids wont improve sales for GeoW2 since its either their parents or lack of any money that blocks it...

This bundle is a great value for money, but i dont think it shows off the 360. Microsoft continues to say "the problem is fixed, everyone! It's okay! You can trust us" and then another article comes out saying that the new XBox 360 is prone to getting the RRoD. Let's also keep in mind that the RRoD is only ONE of MANY hardware problems with the 360. It's the only one under the 3-year warranty, so you should HOPE that you get the RRoD. Any other problem will force you to buy a new system.

My recommendation would be to buy a PS3 if you're tired of hardware failures. If you enjoy the 360 games, that's fine. Good for you. However, you should expect to deal with hardware failures for the rest of your 360 ownership.

Honestly I'm not on the whole I wanna be a guitar player in my house band wagon. An I'm for sure not playing kung fu panda althought he movie was funny an Lego Indiana Jones um... not really sure the star wars one was fun but that isn't enough to make me buy a console. As I know what I like an this is not it. To tell you the truth the only game on 360 I really care to play is Mass Effect but I've been there done that on pc. An Fable II was alright I went to a friends house an played with him an we smashed it in about a day. Don't get me wrong it wasn't bad though I would give it like an 8 to 8.5 its solid but just really not my thing.

I know the bulk of 360 fans are the blind impulse fps buying kind of people there for you really are not familiar with the true rpgs. An believe me no RPG has yet to catch the ones of old Xenogears, Suikoden II and FFVIII. If you are a true rpg fan then you know what I'm talking about but then again some of you have fallen to calling wrpgs out of place. They are currently stuck in place is strictly WRPGS an the sub genre has done little to truly expand beyond fps/ third person gameplay. An really bring on a story that doesn't feel like your talking to bots or bring on a battle system other then something that feels like an action game instead to me that is not any rpg at all. Oh an lets not forget kingdom Hearts.

you know what's great about this? after buying it, take indiana jones and kung fu panda to gamestop (or elsewhere) and trade them in. and because its 2 xbox 360 games you get an extra 10 bucks! pretty much get 50 bucks or so for free.

This bundle is a fantastic bargain. Seriously, anyone saying otherwise must be a hopeless fanboy of another console.
This is going to be a great bundle to appeal to casual gamers and parents buying the console for their kids, etc. Honestly though, Guitar Hero 3 is a game that even us core gamers are really into, and considering it normally costs around $100, it really does make this bundle an amazing deal. The Lego series of games is also a really popular franchise. Lego Indiana Jones scored well and will really appeal to gamers of all ages. Kung Fu Panda, too, is one of the few movie tie-in games that has scored well.

All three of those games are good games. If you don't like them, they could still be great games that other people in your family could enjoy. But if you don't like them, or if you already have them, and you have no family members to share them with, you can always trade them in (or trade them on one of the game trading sites like goozex) for some games you do like.

That really is a great bundle, at an absolutely bargain of a price.
