Why didn't they just do this for the Remaster and make it an amazing game, that would have been awesome, and made going back so much more worth it....

Seriously I don't know what these developers be thinking, who wouldn't want the game to be better....?

these would be easy to even add as an optionnal patch... but regardless I may be a minority but I genuinely loved that game being my second AC game after Brotherhood. I loved the setting (more than the characters though), graphics, crowds, snow environments, soundtrack was amazing, intro to naval combat (epic!!!), the traversal, hunting etc. The more I think about it the less I understand the hate. I think AC3 introduced all the major things that made AC4 such a cool game and in that respect I feel it was memorable.

I don’t get it. For Dark Souls, I always thought that Miyazaki would want to refine his masterpiece in some way, add a new area, maybe a few new bosses...something! But nope. It’s too easy to just re-release it!

We don't need a remaster of this game yet at all. Great game but no way buying it again , way too soon.

joab7772070d ago

Do you buy it, or does it come w Odyssey?

EddieNX 2069d ago

It's just a remastered version of AC3.

I don't want to play it again no matter how good the graphics are

Assassin's Creed 3 REMASTERED is Coming to AC Odyssey for people with the Season Pass as DLC!

"9. Finally admit that today, years after it was released, it was okay to change the color of Connor’s sash from the crimson red of Ezio and Altair to a nice royal blue, and that it really wasn’t worth having seven two hour meetings about."

I like this guy.

I was so looking forward to this game. And I loved the homestead upgrading a lot. I think it just lacked the ability to really bring home the enormous weight of the time period. I adored the setting, but hated the main character. So bland!

Non-playable characters in certain games are meme material, thanks to their foolish behavior. These are the big-budget games with the dumbest NPCs.

Bethesda makes the most consistently stupid NPCs, like really bad... yet I still can't help but love playing their games. Guilty pleasure, I guess. *sigh* 😩

How did redfall not make the cut.

My first thought was the safe rooms in the resident evil series. When you hear that enchanting music you know you’re safe.

Killer2020UK293d ago

I literally just came here to post this. That music in the Resi 1 safe rooms is playing in my head.

I was thinking TLOU work benches. Although I remember one time where it was a false security.

Perfect. 👌👌

I'd add the top of my highrise apartment in GTA Online. That calm, quiet peace, just knowing as soon as I step out that door I will be bombarded by 8 and 12 year olds calling each other n**** and f****, trolled by combat jets and rocket launchers.

The entire map of SotC is peaceful as hell. Used to just ride around exploring it.

mastershredder292d ago (Edited 292d ago )

Afterlife in Cyberpunk 2077 is a peaceful area? Erm, hands down and very hard to miss, Misty Olszewski's Esoterica is the absolute epitome of peaceful areas in that game.

The "last of us" deer location i found to be a welcoming respite. It was nice to not have someone trying to eat me.

Kingdom Hearts tend to present half peaceful areas and most of them are amazing.

'Assassin’s Creed III': Ten Years Later

With the recent reveal of Assassin’s Creed Mirage and the promise that the series will return to its roots, there hasn’t been a better time to get stuck into Assassin’s Creed’s back catalog, whether it’s replaying an old favorite or getting lost in previously looked-over classic.

Ten years later, we miss the old you, Assassin's Creed.

I really enjoyed Assassins Creed 3. My only complaint was that I didn’t enjoy when I had to switch from Connor to Desmond. It’s a personal preference, but Connor’s story was just more fun for me.

On a side note, Black flag was the most enjoyable of the AC games I played.
