Summary: There are not necessary rather a liability which destroy their img on with ganers if blunt enough.

The argument that microtransactions are loot boxes are optional extras - a player choice - is no longer remotely credible. EA, Warner Bros, 2K, etc. are just making parts of their games basically unplayable without dishing out extra cash. I feel sorry for the devs in all this.

Gillagathor2082d ago

As long as you can play the game in full WITHOUT needing to use microtransactions, no harm done. Let people buy fancy outfits if they want to, but don't give them a gameplay advantage just because they paid for it.

AspiringProGenji2082d ago (Edited 2082d ago )

Or better yet, make those fancy outfits be adquired through gameplay only. Stop preying on people. It gotten so ridiculous that people are saying they buy Mts because they don’t have the time to unlock stuff to not look stupid by falling in those companies’ temptations to buy mts.

CarlDechance2082d ago

Agreed. An optional transaction is harmless. If i want to spend money on some cosmetic item then who is anyone to say I shouldn’t be able to?

Don't get me wrong. You can get a decent team by just playing. I have done this my self. Buy I agree to even get just one of these icons it's going to take such a grind to the point where even playing at intended is just not fun anymore or spending such a large amount of money.
