Jak 2 gave Jak and Daxter a dose of Grand Theft Auto, and it was the perfect recipe for the greatest game ever on the PlayStation 2.
The PS2 still took plenty of inspiration from the arcade, leading to a lot of frustration over ottsels, stunts, and, uh, hands of God.
Out of the games on that list, I've beaten:
Maximo
God of War II (but on PS3)
Jak II
Stuntman
In 2003, nobody expected a "serious" game From Naughty Dog. But that's exactly what we got with Jak II.
In a post to the PlayStation Blog made on Dec. 11, Naughty Dog president Evan Wells revealed that the company would be donating all of the profits from the Limited Run sales of its remastered Jak and Daxter games to charity.
''Naughty Dog Donates All Profits From Jak and Daxter Limited Run Sales to Charity''
Me: Cool, bless you ^^
''LGBT Center of Los Angeles''
Why would they need charity though? I understand if they call it donation, but charity is for those who are poor not to exclusive organisations.
One of my all time favorite games/franchises
It gets some hate from time to time but Jak 2 was so damn good. It still plays and feels great and as the article says it was really challenging at times. I played Jak 2 and 3 before the original so I get why people would be pissed if they expected more of the same but I honestly think they're better games.
It laid the groundwork for Jak 3... that's probably the only positive thing I'd say about it.
Still haven't played the 2nd and 3rd one's yet. Must get those for my ps2.
My favorite out of the trilogy.
