Blockbusters like 'Call of Duty' are trying to replicate the success of 'Fortnite' it won't work

Problem is no one wants cod to join battle royal. I wish they expanded the number of players in pvp personally. At least do 10v10.
Besides the article is right, fortnight and pubg are on everything not just PC and 2 consoles. Cod isn't.
Besides cod players want cod not codnight. Same goes for battlefield. I want bigger battles not a giant lonley shrinking 1v all battle area in my war games. Plus cod got rid of story mode for this and that blows goats

CoD is bigger than FortNite. People pay to play CoD. Yeah, if CoD makes a battle royal, i bet it is a success.

We'll see. Even COD is not invincible and following Battle Royale gives consumers the impression they've fallen behind or the series has grown stale.

I agree as well. And these sorts of things happen from time-to-time. Last gen, we had so many FPS/TPS clones. That fad also died off.

It will eventually just be another mode once the newness wears off, like team deathmatch or search and destroy. Basing a game around just one mode just seems silly to me.

Fortnite benefitted from the fact it burst into the public consciousness out of nowhere. It enabled it to explode because consumers regarded it as something entirely new.

Call of Duty is a name that gamers, almost universally have some immediate impression of, and that can't be erased.

It’s a mode. Who cares? Throw it in and people will enjoy it. It’s a fun mode. It shouldn’t be a full game. I’m looking forward to checking out what they do with it.

It's a mode that they could have added and no one would care normally, however it's a mode that they're replacing the campaign with and that's a big move) statement that a lot of people including myself don't like. More is great but removing one thing that half the people love for another that no one may want is rediculous
