Everyone here at Toys for Bob is so proud to be reigniting the original Spyro trilogy after all these years. We're deeply committed to getting these games right, so we’ve decided to move the release date of Spyro Reignited Trilogy to November 13, 2018.

Its amazing that his son became a game developer at Insomniac because Stewart let him play the original Spyro on PS1 20 years ago.

I'm glad they delayed it so that it means they could possibly put 3 games on the disc without requiring you to download Spyro 2 & 3.

However, that is a HORRIBLE release date to delay it to. This is going to get completely overshadowed by Red Dead Redemption 2 and other big heavy hitters around that time.

They already confirmed they aren't putting the other games on one disc on twitter. The 2nd and 3rd games are horribly unfinished and require at least 6 months minimum to become stable. This delay helps a little but not much.

I really hope this means that they are putting all three games on the actual disc. It makes no sense to even do a physical copy and only have 1/3 of the game on the disc.

The download size of all three games included in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy (Xbox One) was revealed to be 36.32 GB (PS4 version is likely a similar size). 36.32 is less than the amount of storage offered by a standard blu-ray, therefore, there was no reason for all three games not to be on disc.

It sucks that it will be delayed but after the backlash from the fans, maybe Activision thought it was a bad idea to not add the two other games on disc? It looks bad on them from a business stand point and could hurt sales.

This is good for me as I'll be busy with Spider-Man and Shadow of the Tomb Raider

the truth is that they don't want to be fagocitated by spider-man and dragon quest XI.
i hope they solve the fact that 2nd and 3rd game needs a patch to be played in these +2 months...
btw, i still hope the game sells not to well but sells anyway, because i need a used copy and activision needs to die.

Apparently the work that needed to be done to get 2 and 3 done was why they wouldn't be on the disc, but they should have delayed the game from the moment they knew all three on one disc wasn't possible. Activision has made some boneheaded decisions before and they didn't learn until right now to fix the problem.

Quite disappointing if true, if that turns out to be the case I'm gonna wait till they fix it, I don't want this nostalgia to be ruined by glitches :(

Do't care if it's going up against RDR2, if this is to insure all 3 games are on the disc, i'll get it day 1
