Games we plan on buying for the Nintendo Switch in 2018

The Switch has had success so far and has a very strong library of games. So what do we plan to play on the Nintendo Switch for the remainder of 2018?

From a huge Ninty fan... Ninty had a crap year in 2018 no games at all really, lame E3 and more no games... 2019 better be beyond stellar or I'm not going to play my Switch again lol

Don't care for SMT, Metroid yes! ... Need F-ZERO, Starfox, Zelda stuff, Mario Kart stuff just loads more coz Ninty has had a crap year

Obviously 2017 was a much better year as Nintendo definitely wanted to ensure the Switch hit the ground running so we were spoiled with the amount of good games we got for the system in the first 6 months. Now obviously we see a little bit of a lull in terms of first party software. But we still saw some great software release, even if a few of them were enhanced Wii U ports.

This fall we are going to be treated to two pretty major releases in Pokemon and Smash Brothers. I predict both games to move many, many millions of units.

I can't stand Pokémon myself lol let's go games look abit trash I gota say :/ ... If you like them then great :) ... Smash is a concern as we still don't know if it has a story, if it's like smash on WiiU I will not be getting it for a while as it was abit meh, Brawl was the best imo ... They need a direct and show games gamers want

@SR - well we have the core Pokemon game next year. This is juts a stop-gap. A way to lure in some of the Pokemon Go players to a game with a little more depth. Then hopefully have those people transition to the core game next year.

Just plain wrong but true. Switch has its place but it’s not going to be the place for AAA 3rd party. I am interested to play octopath and some of the other rpgs , perhaps get a portable copy of dark souls but switch won’t replace Xbox 1 x or ps4 pro for my time

nope, my Switch and Pro happily co-exist. I wouldn't dream of having it any other way. Too many great games to only limit myself to one piece of hardware. Sony + Nintendo 1st party titles = a win for me (in my opinion).
